It works almost as I like  ;).

For deep night operation, even reducing light by 90% may be not enough. It would be nice 95%, but the parameter has a resolution of 10%. Is it possible to increase the resolution? I would like: 91% 92% 93% ... 99%

Good job   , I am going to pay anyway. Can I get an invoice/receipt?

Hello

I am willing to pay €100 for the implementation of this feature. Please let me know if you are interested.

I like dimscreen, it's very close to what I need, except that I cannot control it from command line.
I would like to be able to set the screen brightness by entering a command:

   > dimscreen 90

You get the idea.
