Screenshot Captor / Program freezes when trying to print

I am trying to takes screen shots of an e-book, then print the screens to a PDF, so I used the scroll capture option where it scrolls through and captures the pages. When I try to print the resulting image file the program freezes and windows explorer does as well so I've had to restart my computer a few times. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
