For Faststone try Tools ----> Batch Convert. Check Advanced Options and see the advanced options available in the Text tab (Date would be one of the variables).

Many software can do that, one example I use is xnview. In xnview it is Tools--->batch processing then choosing 'add text' and in the add text parameters choosing exif-image. But if searching other software look for "exif watermark"

Probably not a question that should be asked here
Is fSekrit still a good recommended tool for creating individual encrypted text files? The purpose is to keep and send small text files to someone without asking them to do much and not installing anything myself

Even something as simple as GIMP is a far cry from Windows equivalents (and I don't mean just Photoshop, others too like Affinity). I have spent the past few years dual booting or having one on a computer and the other on another. Linux for desktop is not a replacement unfortunately. Hasn't gotten much closer either ... in my opinion, others can of course feel differently. As another example, closing laptop lid when full screen video running may or may not make the laptop go to sleep. I have posted and sought out support about it ... but even support can solve an issue like this, my opinion is and will be based on how a system/OS/software acts in a default install.
I doubt I will attempt workarounds to get Win11 but Win10 will be my main OS for a while yet.
By 2025 I will likely need a new PC though. The point is not to lock based on artificial requirements (which this is if there are any - Windows 10 iso or other - workarounds). In other words, before 2025 Windows 11 uptake will be worse than some vaccination drives...
2013 released laptop with Intel Core i5-4300U is of course not 8th gen and predictably fails the Windows 11 requirements check. Nothing wrong with this laptop and the only change I have ever felt it needed (and was done) was drive and RAM upgrades.
In HTML5 times probably have to embed a video but tools like mouser's output huge videos, have to read on compression or just create a good quality gif. Same thing with ffmpeg, simple commands don't work, the same 0 seconds output as the video convertors above.
Will try ffmpeg and swifty, thanks. Can I get the exe please? It is not available on the site I believe
In previous times (not related to this swf) no matter what I did screentogif looked like it lost quality or resolution, played with frames and every other setting in it and still never understood why.
