where I'm *very* interested in a topic (as you say, it's a starting point then) or if I know something about the topic (and want to see how badly they've mauled it) but the exceptions are seldom.

Is there any site that does get them right or is it too variable?

This is another shot of the same sunset. I used Inpaint 6.2 to remove a blob from the picture. Can you tell where it was?

Does anyone here use Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)?

I have two big features in Windows 10 that I love it for when compared to Windows 7. These two features are Virtual Desktops and the Windows Subsystem for Linux.

Virtual Desktops
This is a feature that allows you to have multiple workspaces to help keep your windows organised.
For instance, if you have loads of windows open and want to get a fresh screen without moving and reordering all your windows around, you can just open up a new desktop.

What are some of your favorite things about Windows 10 that you see as an actual improvement and simply could not exist in Windows Vista or Windows 7?

I’ve done a bit or research on this. It looks like the update mechanism is having issues connecting to the servers.

1)make sure you don’t have proxy connections turned on. Use the following steps to ensure this isn’t the case;
a. Press Windows + R, type inetcpl.cpl.
b. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
c. Uncheck the box next to “proxy server for your LAN”.
d. Click OK to save and close the window.

How do I fix Error 0x80d05001 while installing updates on Windows 10?

I've got to be honest, I rarely if ever follow any of the msn or usatoday links you post, they're mostly stuff badly ripped off from somewhere else.
You've got to start somewhere. It may be a starting point if it's new to you.

Originally Answered: Why did Microsoft call its new OS Windows 10?

Windows 2000, which was called NT 5.0 during development, was actually version 5.0. Windows XP was version 5.1. Windows Vista was 6.0, Windows 7 was 6.1, Windows 8 was 6.2, and Windows 8.1 is version 6.3.

Technically, modern versions of Windows are still based on the Vista kernel and code base — including Windows 10, which is actually Windows 6.4.

Windows 7 = Ver. 6.1= 6+1
Windows 8 = Ver. 6.2= 6+2
Windows 10= Ver. 6.4= 6+4

ISN'T IT OBVIOUS AND VISIBLE THROUGH NAKED EYES.

Pennsylvania Woman Gets $284 Billion Electric Bill

Did she have a big Christmas lights display or alien hyperspace technology siphoning power from her?
Should she call the Ghostbusters to fix this or did someone's calls to Jupiter get on her electric bill?

Add another potential danger to cellphone use. Would it give you stomach cancer if you swallowed it?

Any other questions?

yes,
have you been using ICE to fill in the edges of the panoramas ?
have you been using a tripod ?

No, I crop to remove the worst of the black background and then use MS Paint's Color Picker, Fill and Brush to hide any remaining black space. I don't use a tripod, the camera is quick enough to not need it. I didn't know ICE could fill in.
