And you need flash to mine bitcoins?  :P

^ Yes but then you are weighing the 'pros and cons' of being affected by something like a 0 day exploit vs BSOD from bad updates.

EDIT: Vaio laptops ... have been disappointing in my limited experience
953
The worst lesson one could get out of these situations is to distrust updates, MS or otherwise. I am not a pro like 40hz but speaking from some experience I would say he is very right.

Judging by two recent threads on DC, mouser's next project should be a calendar/email program

Mini-Reviews by Members / Re: NoteZilla

I always thought a better solution would be for the sticky note (containing the reminder/assigned the alarm) itself to pop up. Never used NoteZilla kind of surprised it doesn't have this option (or does it?).

Depends on what you expect something like HTTrack do. Not just HTTrack but other software (and even file formats) of its kind.

Quick example of what I use it for:

I make a site for a small restaurant and I take laptop to show the 'beta' or draft to them. This is a small restaurant and at the restaurant they only have access for payment processing but not actual internet(!)
HTTrack saves everything, including embedded PDF, slideshows, etc. but the place where I embedded a google map will show like a placeholder, youtube embeds same I think.

EDIT: I think my point is if you are seeking to download all content, including videos, I don't think one piece of software or file will do. Video downloader that works well (or at all) will be separate from downloading content.
958
Why format? I think you should be thinking of a tool that downloads the pages you need well. I use HTTrack, I think it does a good job http://www.httrack.com/

I had a Geocities and Tripod site, good times  :)

.tv is a verisign company, if verisign doesn't show it then you won't find it elsewhere (unless some site or software knows a trick)

The CAD-type work flow is best in my opinion. Click for start, click for end, then drag points for modifications (increase length, create arc, etc.)

Either way, thanks vlastimil

What does Yahoo even have now? Search is not their product anymore, hasn't been for ages. Email and Instant messenger? I sure hope they do stuff I don't know about.
Marissa Mayer seemed at least a bit capable until she came up with the telecommuting restriction. For a company best known for email and IM that was funny, to me any way.

I just passed on the news :)

Reaching overkill territory for me to have yet another backup location to use and keep track of.

Doesn't work (in 17.0.4). Unread go to the bottom of the list.
I will figure it out, thanks again.
