Tonight there has been some unusual activity taking place and I have now lost control of all servers under the ISP and my account has been suspended. Having reviewed the last available information of the sensors, the chassis of the servers was opened and an unknown USB device was plugged in only 30-60 seconds before the connection was broken. From experience I know this trend of activity is similar to the protocol of sophisticated law enforcement who carry out a search and seizure of running servers.

Fifty-seven is the sixteenth discrete semiprime and the sixth in the (3.q) family. With 58 it forms the fourth discrete bi-prime pair. 57 has an aliquot sum of 23 and is the first composite member of the 23-aliquot tree. Although 57 is not prime, it is jokingly known as the "Grothendieck prime" after a story in which Grothendieck supposedly gave it as an example of a particular prime number. This story is repeated in Part 2 of a biographical article on Grothendieck in Notices of the American Mathematical Society.

As a semiprime, 57 is a Blum integer since its two prime factors are both Gaussian primes.

57 is a 20-gonal number. It is a Leyland number since 25 + 52 = 57.

Honestly...I thought 1.33Miles was enough to walk down the pier haha, couldn't imagine walking almost 3x that haha - Worth it though on the Southend one...there is a lovely restaurant at the end, a little ice-cream parlor and the Life Boat Station (With a gift shop). You could get a train to the end of the pier instead of walking, but...where's the fun in that?!

My Norton Startup Manager says ProcessTamer is on its 'start on boot' list, but PTs 'front end' says it's not running at boot, and I have to manually click the Desktop icon to make its icon appear in System Tray. My OS is Win 7 32-bit.

I'm looking for any tips for how to cope with dial-up internet speeds
(Connection has been bad for a while but took a dive on Friday, was gone completely this afternoon, is at a snails pace this evening.)

Firefox doesnt even seem to have a stop-page-loading buttons any more...

1) I remember someone here talking here (I think not too long ago) about a text based browser i.e. it just showed text  - any ideas there?

2) or something that stopped images from loading -- but allowed you to choose to load an image -- that would probably be ideal.

FWIW, Gmail in the browser often works with the basic html interface, even when no other sites load properly.

Try Opera, it has a "Turbo" function which worked VERY well for me when using horrific 3G internet, it also highly compresses images so they load MUCH faster.

FWIW some sites do say exactly that - and refuse to load if they detect an ad blocker at work.

I voluntarily disable ad blocking on many sites I visit where I know they're depending on ad revenue for their continued operation. However. I'd be happier paying a reasonable subscription fee and skip the ads since 'offer-acceptance-tender' is a lot cleaner a way to do business than a quid pro quo. That said, I'll also stop visiting them if their ad stream becomes obnoxious. There's an implied social contract to this arrangement. I'm good with that.

Personally I also do unblock ads on some websites (Such as Imgur) which I use a lot and I accept that they have to cover the costs somehow.  I also actively click any ads that I find remotely interesting on order to send a few pennies their way.

I would do the same here at DC if ads were served if I am honest

Further to what I said above:

Piracy, for me at least, is something I do.  Yes I do pay for a lot of games, movies, music and software (I do enjoy having a physical collection) but (again, I can only speak for myself) 99% f those purchases have been made only after first pirating.  Some would call listening to music via Youtube as piracy...because the content creator isn't selling you the music and isn't getting any income from it (AbBlocker = No Revenue for that person).

That brings me to another point...
