Sorry for the confusion app. I meant that if/when Photoshop doesn't exist in physical format it aids all alternatives, whatever their format.
Even not counting GIMP and other famous image editors/organizers, over the years I have come across many freeware and shareware that feature a significant subset of PS's capabilities. I think PS is a 'if your job requires it' kind of deal and in that case may be your employer is paying for it, really not much use for average users in my opinion.
On topic, off topic and pointless post perhaps but I have been looking forward to version 3 of TreeProjects - which I became a fan of - for a while now. It has almost made me stop evaluating alternatives, which is huge in itself
Windows 7 PCs are still on sale through most, if not all, channels. Everything from the local independent to big box stores and for business clients as well.
One of the apparent raison d'etre of Ghost is being a simpler WordPress. I never saw WordPress as complex so I don't get that. Otherwise a simple attractive blogging platform is nice.

Caching plugins do have a tendency for their own issues. White/blank pages for example. Unless your site is super popular on limited host/resources I wouldn't really bother.

I know Snap DB doesn't do it. I am trying my best to avoid using one more program filled with to do and other data though. That's why I asked here in the Snap DB thread.
