It looks like there is nothing on:

:(

Either they stopped due to server problems or counter got 2.5M.

Almost 2h of trying to get there. Server is still too busy for me :(

PS. Mozilla did better with Firefox Download Day.

I am using:

Some time ago I'd also written small utility with AHK for such purpose but later I found what you can see above.

I am quite proud of the mention on ghacks :-*
Me too, me too :)

Additionally someone from PC World has just contacted with me about Comparer's review. I'll cross my fingers for everyone :)

Hm, it looks like semacode is not very popular. There are many applications (online / desktop / mobile) which can read QR but I can't find anything valuable for semacode*. Two or three midlets but nothing for desktop. The only online reader is "facebook app". I don't have F. account so I don't even know what such term means ;)

*) This might not be completely true. You can find generators at least.

Are they used at all?

As far as I can read on wiki, they are popular on Japan (on billboards).

I really like an idea like this:
1. you're walking on the street and see nice ad,
2. you take a photo of that and start reader app,
3. whoosh... you're on product's website.

It is definitely better than trying to type URL.

On the other hand: QR Codes might provide other usefull information (take a look on sample ZXing frontend).

Just short note.

I've just read article about QR Codes and I think it could be nice to have them generated for DonationCoder.com and available for printing on T-Shirts (on CafePress).

End of my brilliant idea ;)

I know this is a joke but I will not change my opinion. I'd used to think about Mac as really cool machine 'till I had to work with it (for 2 months).

I know I am Windows user but too many things was too annoying for me:
1. Alt+Tab showing apps which were supposed to be closed;
2. 30'' display and need to use menu;
3. Photoshop closing without any notice;
4. Omnigraffle switching off whole computer without reason;
5. few more...

"We're giving customers features they don't even realize they want them yet." ;)

No one will make me believe that the big wheel can be better for typing.

Ehhh. Some time ago I thought Apple knows about usability but now I doubt it. Something must be wrong with them: 1 button mouse 'till 2005 (IIRC), annoying top bar and lot of glitches proves against this thought.

I hope they will allow a lot of people to beta-test it. IIRC I read yesterday that this "release" will be given for those who donated BUT I might be wrong.

I've mentioned Linux because I don't really know how PS3 handle multimedia while browsing the web. Weezo itself needs Windows only (and gives you easy media streaming). That's all.

Or "Linux reply" was not for me? ;)

If your "server" is standard PC you can try to host Weezo on it and access via web browser (if PS3 can do it). If not - I read somewhere about Linux distributions meant for Playstation so using it could be good way.

If I am wrong, I hope I gave right direction :)

Nice outcome.

Now I will be waiting for NAND (New App for New Day) to come ;)

1.0.1.0 is out :)

Few things have been fixed and few other - added.

I hope I will focus on Export feature from now.

And please help us spread the word about the programs -- with so many interesting tools there's sure to be something in the collection to interest everyone.
Maybe creating some web buttons could be nice idea for such task?

Something similar to my quick one (look on sig).

Attached link leads to phishing site (PHISH/MSN.B as reported by Avira). I would advise your friend to change her MSN password ASAP because I think it could be compromized.

Edited: little too late...

You can use transparent images in Samurize with double (or single) click action assigned to it.

Just take a look on my Desktop here:

All "icons" on left are just PNG files configured in Samurize.

N.A.N.Y. 2009 / Re: NANY 2009 Release: Comparer
« Last post by fenixproductions on December 29, 2008, 08:13 PM »
1.0.0.0 is out and can be assumed as final for N.A.N.Y :)

All information can be exported to CSV, HTML or BMP files.

Some shortcuts keys were added:
Ctrl+C - copy selected row as plain text,
Shift+C - copy selected row as RTF,
Esc - close window (works for main form and settings).

Additionally there is a feature called "Sticky mode". By default: dropping a file into Comparer will show its details. Each drop - new info shown but previous attributes disappear. In "Sticky mode" columns content is replaced only, so (ex.) if you're viewing two files and drop new one into left column -> right file will stay and only first one will be replaced.
