in some recent posts by you and brotherS i think it has been shown how useful it is to be able to add number labels.
i'd love to see some very attractive ones, like a number in a circle, with the numbers from 1-10.

like this with numbers:
http://www.copyright...om/copyright-symbol/

actually maybe some copyright symbol collections would be nice!

You mean something like
..\ScreenShotCaptor\Clipart\Numbers\W07.gif

It's an black circle filled with white and an black number:

It was KanaClip
http://www.kana.home...p.net/index.php?i=43

Permanent clip can be used to put predefined text.
Permanent clip has the ability to create sub menu, so can manage the text better.
Permanent clip uses simple text format so it can be easily edited by using any text editor.
Integrated functions to add current date and time.

AND ShortCut
could do such things too.

There was mention an clipboard utillity on this forum.
With this utillity you could set diff templates to past in too.
In this templates you can also use placeholders for time stamps.
So you could make a few templates with diff date/time items.
What was the name of this tool ?..........

« Last post by AbteriX on October 13, 2005, 07:31 AM »
If i select in the settings
or in the tray menu
"Use Timer" or "Captor Cursor"

than this setting is not show in the "Capture menu".

If i check this options in the menu
they are also set in tray and settings.

----
AND FYI
my screenshots are now suddently stored in the C:\ root
(path in the settings are set as in my other post)

---------------
AND FYI
i get an "can not save" error.

*.PNG test saving was a 0 byte file
*.JPG test saving was the same error, but file was saved.

...  And it does not allow for prefix/suffix text.
-hurricanedavid (October 12, 2005, 01:23 PM)

You must put ' single quotes '  around the p/s text.
like in this TooltipFormatString:
ddd, d MMM |'Woche' ww|DDD 'te Tag des Jahres'
(an old Registry export from my TClockEx.)

Thanks for asking.
Details view is nifty, but i could use Explorer for that issue.

But I just see
that "File | Explore at Screenshot Directory"
opens an Explorer with view of C:\
instead to show my screenshot folder
"C:\Documents and Settings\internet\My Documents\ScreenShotCaptor\Screenshots\".
(Path taken from current settings dialog box)

Is this an bug or didn't i understand this function?

Oooh, and i get just an error: "Error! Can not find "NAME OF SHOT" in Folder C:\"
if i try to open the context menu over the thumpnails.

Did i just try to many on my disk or have others the same issue ?

Screenshot Captor / Re: new feature coming: zoompanel
« Last post by AbteriX on October 11, 2005, 01:53 PM »
This zoom could be an aid for making an good placed selection in the shot.
But sorry, i can't use this feature.
The grid is more disturbing than helping (for me)
I don't see the selection border in the zoompanel correct ('cus of the color ? ... 'cus of the grid ?)

And the "area of the visible part" in the Navigation panel is also nearly unvisible for me.
This area should be colored, or darker or more bright than the rest.

------------

I just want to suggest an "snap to an edge -Selection -Tool"
to better select e.g. an menu or an button in an shot
if this is possible with ImageN.
But the zoonpanel could fit this feature too (if i would see something  :) )

Screenshot Captor / Request: cancel snapshot with ESC
« Last post by AbteriX on October 11, 2005, 01:15 PM »
I found no way to cancel an just started snapshot.

Normal i could use the ESC-key to cancel such actions.

Maybe it's worth to implement this feature ?

> ok i can add this if people really need it.

An Tip
and an hint for the poll  :) :

I use an single char as snapshot trigger
in the right "Custom Hotkey" area
like the 'c' -key for to capture the current window.

But i must remeber to remove this trigger
to not get funny effects.
Now i remeber an other suggestion i had... see new post
So "disable Hotkeys" in tray menu would be usefull.

I don't know if i right understand you.
