Maybe your AV is acting up, or had a bad update, you could try excluding the CHS directory from it.

Well, the countdown time is updated quite often..., the new mode is only updated after opening the widget/app, AFAICS :-[

I'm just testing to see how it behaves, and it does quite nicely :D I'm just not adhering to the suggested mode :P

I just wonder why a state shift doesn't show immediately in the widget, it shows the last state with 0s remaining while the countdown of the new state is (already) started, 'cause when I press the widget it shows the actual state and current time left, and when returning to my homescreen that state/time is shown on the widget :tellme:

That would be something like:

"full\path\to\WinSendKeys" ^!t -w "<(partial)window title>" [-x "full path to application exe" [-xp "parameters to exe"]]
Breakdown:
  • "full\path\to\WinSendKeys" : Specify the WinSendKeys executable path and name
  • ^!t : The keystrokes to send <ctrl><alt>-T
  • -w "<(partial)window title>" : Usually the application name part in the title of the window, the most recently used is selected when multiple matches are found
  • -x "full path to application exe" : The executable to start if the window title for -w is not found (optional)
  • -xp "parameters to exe" : Any parameters to pass to the executable specified with -x (optional)

This is exactly to how my WinSendKeys works, though it doesn't have a very simple way to create shortcuts for you, it has all the features you (could possibly) want.
It's just that I wrote it in AutoIt3 instead of AHK :D

About When Last: I'm running the latest beta, but I'm using quite a long title, that's probably the reason it looks a bit cramped. Unless you have a few tricks up your sleeve... ;D

Updated to 1.18 and the widget fontsize setting is there and working, but I can't resize the widget below 2x2 size :huh:, there is only a 2x2 size widget available for me...

Yup, found that (and saw the screens above), but it's got to blend in with my daily habits  8)

1 suggestion: can the widget be resized from 2x2 to 2x1? that should be enough, as it is huge on my screen. I have my icons grouped using MultIcon, so there are 4 apps in the space of a normal app shortcut (I'll try to show a partial screenshot asap)

Just installed it today, as it wouldn't install yesterday, on my Android 4.2.2 Samsung Tab 2 tablet. It'll take a week to go through the normal cycle, but I'll let you know how it's behaving :)
