I would guess that someone will tell the topic creator to look at some program with the word magic in the name.

I doubt it. Look at the date.

Just out of interest, and via TinyApps blog:

Christ On Disk is a freeware application for viewing the King James Version of the Bible. It is a stand-alone application that is able to fit onto and run from a single floppy disk that has been specially formatted.

Christ On Disk has a new Website.

http://www.iconlook.com/ icon search engine, very handy when you need an icon for a doc or shortcut.

There's a thread for such search engine. For sounds, see this thread.

Anyways, check out Top 100 Alternative Search Engines for a comprehensive list of search engines and reviews.

Sorry for the confusion... I know how to work with file associations... was just trying to warn others that vjpeg automatically changes file associations for jpg, bmp and gif. One has to fix it manually after uninstalling it.

Thanks Phil, so far I haven't had file associations mess up.
Probably or maybe cause vjpeg is not set as default viewer.

Uninstall vjpeg and see.

I am not all a fan of Matousec, because I don't fully trust his methods to be as relevant, as he would like us to think, but I don't think his affiliate deals are a problem, on this matter. One is a magazine, hakin9, and the other is the Anti Rootkit site. How can such affiliates be a problem?

No, I said affiliate deals with some of the software vendors.

BPACLer looks really useful (be warned if you use AdMuncher half the page doesn't display at all - including the download link!)
-Carol Haynes (July 24, 2008, 05:32 AM)

Strange. I don't experience that (Opera browser but no AdMuncher).

I believe the developer of Magic Formation are Japanese and that is probably one of the reasons why I haven't heard about this program sooner. I guess it will be an arms race between us two.  :D
-VideoInPicture (July 23, 2008, 09:41 PM)

Correct, but I wouldn't worry too much about an "arms race" as WinFlip has Koji's (the developer) priority. He doesn't plan to update MF any time soon.

Thanks for the comparison. Just wanted to add that MF is a portable dock application and does not require .net framework to run which is a big  for me. Anyway, will be looking out for a future release of Circle Dock.

Thanks.
