If you could give an example pdf to do this operation, perhaps we all could experiment with the various tools each of us has.

Your .avi works here on Windows 7 with mpc-hc.

But I have the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack that includes MPC-HC.
Latest version of MPC-HC is 1.4.

Not just anyone can be a good server.
Any fake courtesies or service can easily be seen by most.

I couldn't do it, dealing with the public like that.
Others are very good at it and like it.

When we go out to eat we want to be served.
It's the whole friggin point.
Or get your order to go.

Servers are paid to serve, they are paid according to how well they do their job directly by the served, no middle man.

It's not perfect, but that is the way it is mostly....
Lobby congress for a change...lol...

Speaking of tips, there's a good illegal tipping market-Congress.
Like it's not legal for public service officials (Police) to accept gifts.
Here in the US anyway.

But tipping goes on in many arenas.
Gifts to teachers or other such work that benefits are seen.
Not required but it is happening.

Too bad taxes can't be treated like tipping!

I can't find an answer to that tomos.
Perhaps one could create a database and sync it.

Or using 4wd's method, sharing and tagging could be done with the usb stick and the desktop.

Any database, anywhere can be opened, but tagging seems restricted, perhaps for sharing security.

I'm really not sure if Tabbles is an answer anyway.
It's more of a find your file operation.

hm, well. ok!

The main problem, imo, is fear of loosing your job.
In a situation like that there is no support from others.
No unions in this working class I know of either.

They can just fire you and get someone else in a heartbeat.
High turn over in this food service business.

I worked as a cook like 30 years ago, and my wife was a server and a manager,
oh, about 10 years ago. Never again for either of us.
It wasn't all bad, but it's low pay and will not get better.
Unless you really like it and be a real chef it's an in-between job.

Yeah, when it started moving into the 20% range, I never went there.

I wish that restaurants would just pay their employees.

Yes they should just pay the employees what they are worth.
But they can get away with it in America because of the laws.

Tipping at cafeteria-style places? Uh. No.

lol, right on, no tipping there....

Speaking with a server in the USA, I found out that the hotel simply took the gratuities that were tacked onto the bill. Servers never saw it, or much of it anyways.

What hotel was that? Rhetorically speaking, I don't expect a name.
But that's grounds for a law suit.

And most servers share a portion of the tips with the person that cleans the tables.
Thought I should add that to the info.

The cooks are not doing more Josh.
Everyone works hard in that business.
The cook at your typical 10 - 15 dollar steak place.
at best I'd say $15 an hour.
High dollar chefs get maybe twice as much.
Depends on the place. And area of the world.
I've worked at some of the top restaurants, (USA),
with some great chefs trained in Europe and America,
and the stores in the middle as well as the low end ones.

Tipping is not a requirement for the customer.

It is required to make any money if you are a food server/waiter/waitress.
They are called 'servers' mostly in restaurants these days.
Gender deal.

Servers are paid less then minimum wage and tipping is part of their source of income.
That's the way it's been for a long long time. Customers should know this.
They do have to declare their tips for the irs now though.

For good serving I will tip 10 to 15 %.
For poor service, I will tip less, depends on why the poor service.
For a terrible experience, I take it to the management.
And usually get the meal free.
Still I will tip, unless the server is the main problem.

If the server does not do their job they don't get tips.
They know that. We do too, or should.
If they do their job well, they should be tipped accordingly.
I used to tip more for great service, but I just can't anymore.

Large parties are known to stiff the servers on the tip.
That's why there is standards that vary at different places.

I was in the food service industry a long time ago.
And my wife was as well.
We'll never do it again, it sucks.

It works, AusLogics BoostSpeed SE, not Pro which has a little more tweaks.
After installing you have to get the free license code via 'about'.

So I did it, but doubt if I use it. Maybe.
My tweaking programs are having tweaking wars.
So I only use a couple and they still argue over a tweak or 2.

Hi Mouser,

I do like the box that can be re-sized for this operation.
Didn't it used to be cross hairs and drag to size?

I miss the cross hairs way of selecting a portion of my screen.
For quick capturing this works fast and preferable for moving speedily.

Maybe it's still in the program, but I can't find it.

If it's not, could you bring it back and call it 'quick capture' or something?
If possible and worthy, I'd be thankful.

Thanks for SC!

The double-sided tape that comes with the plastic window kit, for covering the inside of windows to save energy, has the tape you want in it's package. That's what I've seen anyway.

Here's the tape by itself, if you can find it, or you have to get a sheet of plastic with it.

Run the network setup wizard again on both.
Some times they forget after tweaking things.
