welcome to the site huyaowen,
you can't do this with Process Tamer currently.
What you will be able to do *soon* though is tell process tamer that a specific program should be set to low priority as soon as it starts using 10% of cpu.  But this is not available yet.
This would be a wonderful feature!

I also like the suggestion by fickletrick, btw :)

My pet peeve is that the clipboard keeps only text (this is a biggie, since I copy-paste a lot to onenote and FF gives me html plus a link to where the snippet came from!).
hi, urlwolf. I was looking for a simple way to make Opera+OneNote cooperate, and hopefully this'll be helpful to you too. Check out my post in opera forum: http://my.opera.com/...ndpost.pl?id=2347917

Mini-Reviews by Members / Re: Microsoft OneNote 2007
« Last post by TucknDar on November 30, 2007, 07:59 AM »
I just started using OneNote, mostly to try to organize some projects (studies, hobbies) and have to say I'm very impressed with it! Wow! I found an excellent students discount which I've taken advantage of (sorry, Norway only AFAIK). Spot on, Microsoft

Living Room / Re: SuperboyAC's DC blog #5 (The State of MiniDisc and Sony)

Another MD player owner here. Haven't used it for years though, and I agree with much of what you say, SuperboyAC. I loved making compilations (only for myself though... wuddya mean, that''s sad!?) but eventually it started getting tiresome having to record songs just like with the old tapes. Enter iPod...

Living Room / Re: Today is my birthday- when is yours?

Well, my birthday is technically in February, but I still voted for Febuary ;)

To me it's (hopefully) a way to dedicate myself to try and Get Things Done, and find a working system that suits MY needs, so that I'll become more productive and procrastinate less. That's the goal, anyways.

I think the idea behind having the experiment on DC is so us procrastinators have a way of "working together" towards a goal. The goal, as I indicated, is more or less individual, since some probably need to improve do their homework, while others have projects to code, books to write, or whatever. Personally I think it'll help if I get others' input and if there are maybe some assignments or ideas that helps me a step or two in the direction I want to go.

Well, that was IMHO anyway ;)

General Software Discussion / Re: Mobile Browsing: Opera Mini 4
« Last post by TucknDar on November 07, 2007, 03:09 PM »
I've read quite a few DC posts while on the bus or anywhere else for that matter with Opera Mini. It's an awesome little app.

Highly recommended!

I prefer RM CLock over CPUIdle as it fixed (well, worked around is more correct) an annoying issue with my laptop, but looking at some recommendations of CPUIdle it seems it can be helpful for some.

How about Defensewall HIPS? Worth it? Or rather, is it worth the yearly upgrade fee?

Support!

Some sort of FARRLog plugin would be very nice!
765
hmmm.. crash. messagebox says "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" then it crashes without a trace... Happens when launching it.

Also, in the install dialog, the "Next" button says "Nex" ;)

go to http://www.cfontpro.com/download.asp and do a direct download. Link at the bottom.

Looks like a great tool, Veign. I'll check it out

yes, thanks Carol! This really is an excellent tool! I've replaced TaskManager with it and what an extraordinary improvement!

A tree view configuration is probably a good idea.
Sounds like a good idea to me, too, although the current layout doesn't really bother me.

I suppose if you do change to a tree view config dialog you could implement this in your other apps too

thankfully I never do anything useful computer-related, except to me of course, so nothing important will lost :-\

I've heard of going to the can, but this is ridiculous!

I take it this is so you can write code on your laptop while... you know.

Did anyone test this yet? does it do what it says?

p3lb0x, save your userbar -- the next cody contest after this one will be a dc userbar contest
The next one after that should be Cody sightings, kind of like that Venetian one and the one with Cody on top of that building.
Agree!!
774
Did you try manually editing the registry? Or at least check the settings for jpg?
