Sync a local copy with dropbox, from your pc run a script to list all the files and output to a .csv file which can be opened with excel.
Snap2html from rlvision dot com may serve your purpose too, it's a desktop program and can list files according to the dropbox location you provide instead of the local ones.

WinButtons doesn't work on my XP.. it gets frozen when running a ui
I really like smelly Phart & Crap  ;D
Phart is compact but I don't know how to get it to work. It'd be nice to see command examples in the source code.
Crap is simply great though i'd like it to show borders around buttons.

As for my suggestion to start and bind external programs with gui, there could be dedicated room for them on the panel and the other buttons would rearrange themselves ?

Edit :

Phart runs command 'locally' by pressing <shift+Button>

Nothing special in mind, Skwire, just a hobby thing to make a pseudo ide for a set of cli tools called FASE to create games for a 8-bit microcomputer, ZX Spectrum.

I thought of embedding a few apps on a gui panel: a grahic editor of your choice, Tiled (a tile map editor) and buttons for cli tools which process such graphics/maps and do other tasks like changing configurations from the engine's .asm  files and then recompile with a cli tool, etc.
It may be overkill in this case but this kind of workflow could be useful for people used to pipe different cli apps with gui apps, programmers who dislike designing guis or prefer to work with their favourite tools.

Hi
I thought the following tool could be handy, a customizable layout system to manage cmd based programs.
It could be useful for people who suffer panic when using commandline little programs with many options difficult to remember, or in case that you need to process a file with different programs one after the other.
It would allow different layouts, comboboxes for the cmd options, buttons, flow designer for a row of tasks performed by different tools..
Going further some of these panel regions could be used to start/embed external programs which have their own gui, for example paintbrush.

The idea is an application that let you select a rectangular region within any window (as in software to capture screenshots) and put it on video mode enlarging/scaling it to fit the full screen, this would be useful for games or emulators which are only in window mode or display a reduced size of window.

Yes, it does. I use the version 7 for non-commercial use though I think the X pro version wasn't expensive.

A bit off-topic but anyway related with the change of user interface. I've bought an android tablet 7'' in size recently and I wanted to share my initial impressions.
- The main problem is that if you don't put it on a table you are limited to work with just your thumbs, I'd like that you could manage the virtual keyboard from behind being the rear part of the tablet tactile as well if you held it with your hands, this way all fingers would be available and a tablet could be far more comfortable for gaming and working on train or when you sit on an armchair.
- Default keyboard is not qwerty with arrows, it'd be nice to have something like the physical ones.
Keyboard should  be semitransparent with a key magnified as soon as the user puts a finger over it, translucent to avoid covering the sight of what you are editing. Another important thing that is not well resolved when editing text is the placement of the text caret navigation.
- Wrapping huge text conveniently is very important to avoid having the user scroll too much, uff I find myself scrolling\enlarging all the time, that process to fit a readable view into the screen should be more automatic, regarding text wrapping a solution could be that one could select a paragraph with a quick option to rewrap/enlarge the rest of the document  the same as that paragraph.
- I wouldn't mind to have to tap as many times as needed to magnify anything, be it a button, link, input box..a magnified region should be brought up for anything. Something like what i've seen in Chrome for android when the ui has doubts about where the user has just pressed, then an enlarged loupe is brought up so that you can select more precisely, i would like that this sort of loupe showed up all the time for everything no matter how many times you'd need to tap to activate a function/control/link..
- Emulation of mouse for tablets could be a handy feature, imagine yourself moving a semitransparent mouse and seeing the pointer just a few inches above your finger, you could right click/double click within this control without worrying about your chubby fingers.

Yes, it a new game made in Ukrania, the homebrew Spectrum scene is quite active nowadays

I don't know well the history of brazilian spectrums, sovietic clones, or north-american models like the one you mentioned, Timex Sinclair 1000.
I think the 48K (rubber) keyboard was great for playing games, though I don't think that a good typist would have liked it. But for gamers I think it was great. The Spectrum +/128K keyboard, though, I didn't like at all. Amstrad's +2 and +3 keyboard was much better for typists.

Any comments, suggestions ? I think this game is a work in progress until the end of march.
