What version of WinAmp? I'm still using WinAmp 2.8 Lite and I'm happy with it. If the older version runs on your PC you might want to consider it.

Why did we loose so many smilies? I believe two pages have gone missing! ?

They're there if you preview your post first. But they aren't in the Quick Reply area.

By the way, that's a nice wallpaper image for your laptop. Did you take that photo yourself?

Thanks for pointing that out. I fixed it.

The good news is that Haluz 2 (a Samorost-like game) is entirely free.

This is totally a photoshopped image, but if you've ever played Brain Age it's hilarious!

What about just recording keypresses so it can play it back with whatever drum kit is loaded? :D

Living Room / Re: What are you getting for your Special Other for Valentines Day?
« Last post by Deozaan on February 17, 2009, 09:56 PM »
Nothing. We don't celebrate that "holiday."

Perhaps I should clarify. See, before we got married, my wife and I both decided that we didn't like V-Day and that we wouldn't celebrate it. So imagine my surprise when she seemed a little disappointed when, nearly a year into our marriage when our first V-Day as husband and wife came around, I reminded her what we had decided. She was a bit unhappy with me for that one.

So to save my buttocks from spending a month in the dog house, I suggested an alternate holiday that actually meant something to us: The day we got engaged. Which just so happens to be a few days after V-Day (Feb 17th, so today is our two-year engagement anniversary).

Once again, after seeing her co-workers get flowers on V-Day she was a little unhappy that I didn't do anything for her this year on V-Day. But maybe I should be upset because she completely forgot today was our engagement anniversary!

Oh well. Maybe next year it will work out the way we agreed it should.

Women! :tellme: ;) :D

Living Room / Re: Meme time! Five Things People Don't Know About Me
« Last post by Deozaan on February 17, 2009, 09:45 PM »
Alright, well I'm going to go by "Five things DonationCoders (probably) don't know about me."

1) I married an alienw.
2) I didn't realize that I also count the number of steps I take going up or down stairs until I noticed so many people here doing it. I don't actually count the stairs, I count how many steps I take (I usually take them two at a time).
3) I own 7 or 8 website domains and none of them have any real (updated) content. One of those domains is full of poetry and miscellaneous writing I did several years ago. Another one contains animations I made of stick figures killing each other.
4) I often interpret words literally. So even though I know what people mean, I consider the words in their literal meaning. I find myself curious about the origins of figures of speech and the denotative meanings of words. As such, I love puns and double entendres.
5) A bunch of related ones all in one: I appear young for my age (I turn 26 this year). I'm 6'1" (185.4cm) but only weigh about 115 pounds (52.3kg). (That's barely on the BMI chart.) I broke the 100 pound barrier in my senior year of high school (9 years ago).

Cafeteria lady, perhaps?

Er.. except of the male variety, of course. :P

Would-be purchasers will have to leave the store through special exits, at which they will pay for the merchandise.
These will be known as bill gates.

Auto Ogle Friend?

My female friends may not appreciate that very much. :-[

Then again, neither would my male friends! :tellme: :-[

My wife would like it least of all!

Sounds like a bad idea all around.

I remember when I was younger that my family had a slide-rule that my brother and I would play with for a few minutes before getting bored. I was never taught how to use it or what it was for.
