I don't really mind what my music looks like, I can still get to it. ;D

What is this tidy of which you speak? I got one folder for music, and sub folders for full albums, all id-tags are default, I don't change them.

I think the review is a solid, good review, but seeing the pictures, I think that if I were to look at my computer through that program, my head would explode. I would probly crash my computer with what I had on my computer before I reinstalled windows.

Living Room / Why maple story sucks
« Last post by nite_monkey on March 20, 2007, 07:24 PM »
Why maple story sucks.

I am using a Logitech cordless internet pro keyboard/mouse combo, and it runs 100% perfectly on everything I have used so far, but when I try to play maple story, I can't push anything on the keyboard accept the letters, or the secure connect dialog pops up.

By secure connect dialog, I mean that thing that when you install the drivers for the keyboard it pops up and says it wants you to securely connect your wireless connection to your keyboard, and you can't type anywhere accept for in that dialog.

Does any one know why maple story does that, and any way to fix it?
No I will not switch back to a wired keyboard just to play maple story when the keyboard works perfectly on everything else, so please help me out with a different solution, thanks.

Living Room / Yaplet chat on any page
« Last post by nite_monkey on March 15, 2007, 08:55 PM »
so awhile ago I was looking for new add-ons for firefox, and I ran across this really good one that lets you incorporate chat into any website you goto. all you do is goto any page on a website (example donationcoder.com/forum/index.php) and then hit alt + y, and then leave the text box that pops up blank and hit ok, and then you can chat with other people on that page using the add-on. I figured donation coder could use it, because I can't use the irc chat, it won't goto the channel, so with this, all you do is goto the forums main page, and load the chat.

you can use find and run robot here on donation coder and just start typing in the name, and it will search for all the programs that start with that letter, that eliminates the need to push the start button.
...Why am I not using it on my computer...I'll have to do that when I get home.

What I was doing when I was using the vista beta, you could un plug your xp hard drive, and plug in the other one in it's place, and just shutdown and swap drives when you want to switch operating systems. Yes I know that isn't very good, but if all else fails, it's an Idea.

Mini-Reviews by Members / Re: Little Setup Builder Reviewed
« Last post by nite_monkey on March 12, 2007, 12:40 PM »
Based on past useage, I have found that most free install makers have a screen at the end that says "this installer was made using (insert product name here)", so if this program doesn't put that at the end than this would be a pretty cool program for users to make installers.

wow, I haven't seen a user do that before, googling his user name you find a bunch of forums that he has posted the same thing on, I haven't looked at all of them, just the first 4, and they said the same thing. I hate those kind of people.

That would be pretty cool, if you could put one pointer on one monitor, and then put another on the other monitor (dual view-dual mouse) that would be pretty cool.

« Last post by nite_monkey on March 06, 2007, 12:42 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knew of a proxy site that used a secure connection instead of the regular http:// Schools block regular conections, but they don't block https://, or at least my school doesn't, so if anyone knows of a proxy site that uses https:// secure conection please let me know.

edit:I found https://superfastproxy.com but I don't know how long it will last, so I need someone else to give me some other ones that have been up for awhile that use https://

Ok, my desktop looks way better. You can see from the image in my first post that my desktop was a massive mess, well now with the new picture you can see that the mess is still there, but now its more organized, like Carol Haynes had suggested. Thank you Carol.

I like Carol's idea. I can also put all the icons into different folders like a folder for games, a folder for installation files, etc.

As you can see with the attached picture, I have a lot of desktop icons. I was hoping that someone had a program that would let me organize my icons between my two monitors. (better than the windows arrange icons by menu you get when you right click on the desktop, when align to grid is on I can't put icons on my second monitor) If someone could help me out here, I would really like that.

p.s. Yeah, its a bad quality image, I shrunk it in paint, to lazy to wait for photoshop to load, the small little program that you see in the bottom middle is at the bottom left of my second monitor.

Skrommel's Software / Re: Run
« Last post by nite_monkey on February 28, 2007, 06:09 PM »
I can't read that language, but if the run button is there, you should be able to drag it to the desktop, I don't know a whole lot about user privileges, but I do know that school privileges allow you to drag and drop the run button.

Edit: no never mind, I just switched my start menu to the classic menu right quick, and you can't drag it to the desktop in classic, you would have to either use skrommel's run program, or press the windows button and r, or just click start run.
