You really shouldn't take such a low point about the loss of that cap, Darwin
- that cap is smart, fancy, cool, and tasty, yeah: that cap is good looking!

Did I mention that I have one alike?

I hope nudone and forum will forgive all this 'very much off topic' talk...

The easiest way to prevent hangovers, is (besides the obvious!!) to take 3 tablets before you go to bed. I learned this when I stopped working in the freezer...  :-[

Today I have adopted 'the obvious' methode.

Does it work with brains?

I am not kidding: Yes, it does work with brains, as well!!  8)

For some years I was working in a deep freeze warehouse. At the time I had a serious drinking problem, so hangovers were a common day problem. But whenever I got into the freezer, the hangovers would leave! You never suffer from headaches when it is really cold.

To freeze is good; I have read at TechRepublic. If your harddrive breaks down, you can put it in the freezer for two hours, and rapidly put it back in the machine, and this way recover your data. Usually at least 90 % success.

I have uninstalled several addons, disabled many others, reinstalled this and that,
and still I cannot access these pictures. I am totally in the dark, on this.

Strange... I just don't get why the images won't show up for you. ...

Using Extreme Picture Finder, I managed to find 87 large picture files at cid=2 and cid=2&p=2 , but there are 94 thumb nail links!?

However, I have still not been able to find any large pictures, using IE7, FireFox 2, Maxthon 1.6, Aaron's WebVacuum, Internet Image Browser, or WebSucker. I have (of course) no understanding of  WHY  some will and some won't. The new download links gave me nothing: the server was not available, the various Internet browsers said, or they claimed the file was empty. I have tried many different ways to do it.

Being a man, and a single one of the kind, I would of course very much like to also have the large size pictures of Keeley Hazlle and 1712,  icon_idea.gif , but these pictures too  seems to "contain errors"...

Thanks for trying, Dirhael. Sadly it didn't improve anything in my end of the line. Maybe I some time ago told some program not to accept web redirections - I am not sure. I have no problem downloading all sorts of pictures from elsewhere! Second Screen is added to Trusted. But you are storing all these pictures somewhere else, arn't you? I think you are, because Aaron's WebVacuum found thumbs only, at the 2'nd Screen site. If so, can you supply the store's address?

I've just spend an hour at Penny Arcade's forum's Wallpaper section. You have some gifted guys in the crowd. After some time I also found a few things that I liked.

@Curt: Hehe, what can I say... I like pretty things ...(...)... if you'd like to see if there's something you'd like there, the url is: http://gallery.thesecondscreen.com/

I have no idea what / who Penny-Arcadians is / are, but now I am a member!

- never the less I am not able to view any full sized pictures!???
>
The image cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
-Firefox
The program cannot display this page
-Internet Explorwer 7

The Second Screen sure have some nice wall papers,  :-*
but to me they have so far been thumb nails only.

The large "Gallery" link at the top of the page wasn't obvious enough?

- I found the gallery, but no full sized pictures. What am I missing?

I had no problems viewing your screenshots in "Guide: Visual Styles".

General Software Discussion / Re: YzShadow - Drop shadows for all your windows

Quote from the DC thread Y'z Shadow:

From time to time I am a big fan of eye candy; be it a beautiful woman or stuff to make my PC look better. One FREE, small app I have come across is named Y'z Shadow and is the kidbrother of Y's Toolbar - both to be found at WinMatrix. The list of features is limited to making all windows cast a shadow [periode].[/periode] but it really is/are ALL windows, even context menus and drop-down boxes, and the shadow is discrete and tasteful. I like this little app:.....

Y'z Toolbar will not cooperate with Quizo's QT TabBar.
Y'z does not write to registry, but is to be placed in Start.

Really nice work, ak_!!  :)

If one day you are going to work on this program again, then maybe you would consider to change two letters, the "f" and the first "n", to capital "F" and "N", please? The name of the program clearly is FileNanny (capital F and N), but the exe file is named filenanny.exe (f and n). So when I used FileNanny to tell filenanny to go to her room, she didn't went to FileNanny, but to filenanny.

- Sorry for making a short story long...

Fine program!

Freeware World Team - one of the lesser appreciated sites that reports on a volume of new small indie freeware tools that other sites should be envious of.  i wake up each morning hoping that they are still doing what they are doing - they actively go out and find new small freeware tools you won't hear about anywhere else.

I have not been able to reach all4you for 1½ day, and I have no idea, as to why.

Can you reach http://www.all4you.dk/FreewareWorld/ ??   :tellme:

How big is this file? KB or MB ?? Is it a .pst ???

Very convincing, zw. I am almost sure I want this. Only, I shouldn't have to right-click the icon; the option's list should popup at mouse-over, I think.

I have just ordered Outlook project management from http://www.outlookproject.com/
...
This is something they email to you, ...

Interesting to hear if you ever receive this file! The site has not been updated for two years, and their forum has been closed for at least half a year. But the extension sure sounds ideal for the purpose in question.
6397
... So "all" I have to do is, to have the New Program starting as the last program, and it will also be the last to close.

... no, not in the case of ClickOff. It turns out that ClickOff will not be placed in Start, but will move itself back -

Sometimes it is good to be wrong!  :)

I shouldn't have tried to move ClickOff to Start. It turns out that merely adjusting the starting order, using Startup Delayer, was all it took. Now ClickOff is The Last to start, and, more important, The Last to close - meaning it can handle all of the shutdown procedure. Problem solved!

Thank you for trying to help me out, and extra thanx to kiwi2b for the link to ClickOff:up:

Mouse Clicks

In the Sendkeys field that is mostly used for sending keypresses, special keys and macros there is also a limited facility to send mouse clicks.

The mouse click command consists simply of indicating which button to click (left or right) and the co-ordinates on the screen (x,y) to click. With the ability of windows to be on different parts of the screen often it is difficult to get a mouse click to always click the right co-ordinates, sometimes running an application maximized will help to guarantee that your mouse click command will always hit the right button or other control.
-System Scheduler's Helpfile

I don't think I can use System Scheduler, because of "the co-ordinates on the screen". The various messages don't have the exact same size, so the buttons to click will not all show up at the same co-ordinate. Besides, I am using Dialog Move, and I really don't want to have to remember to leave my cursor at the exact same place at every shutdown. Furthermore, ClickOff is easy to learn how to use, but System Scheduler is difficult / tiresome to (not) figure out.
6399
Thanx for the link to the 1½ year old thread, mwb1100; good detective work!

So it was the 25 dollar Dialog Devil   that started me off - seems like a really fine program. I am testing the gratis ClickOff some more, though, and so far it will do - mainly, perhaps, because my PC has been acting decently today...
6400
... So "all" I have to do is, to have the New Program starting as the last program, and it will also be the last to close.

... no, not in the case of ClickOff. It turns out that ClickOff will not be placed in Start, but will move itself back - meaning that ClickOff always will be among the first programs to close. This is not too smart, I think, so I am off to write the author, and to test PTFBPro.

Edit: - but PTFBPro is $30, so I am kind of still in the need...
