There are a bunch of serious academic tools for creating bibliographies -- many specialized for MS Word.
The most well known is EndNote, but there are free options as well.

not a bad idea..
however, i think the most important thing to need to test is the regex, and if you look carefully there is a place to test the regex in the alias edit dialog.

To clarify -- I cannot afford (mentally or monetarily) to take on work at those kinds of rates
The idea I was proposing was like a raffle, so that if many people donate, only one would win a prize of having their custom app created.
But i think the main problem with this is pretty real -- that  very few people would care about or have need for this "prize".

Personally I love the Walking Dead comic, and think the tv show is absolute unwatchable crap.  Just terrible acting, directing, writing, the whole 9 yards, terrible.
It's hard for me to put my finger on the core of why it falls so flat for me, but i think the inability to resist trying to come up with grosser and grosser scenes of gore and faces getting smashed reveals what the producers/writers/directors think makes a good show. All of the emotions just feel unearned and fake to me..

Although FARR does not support unicode, I believe it might still let you search in your case.. Can you try going to the options and the "Font Overrides" tab, and try choosing a custom font for "Set EditBox Font" that shows your character set?

I was trying to think of some ways we might get some attention for the fundraiser..

What about having a random drawing for any donor/supportingmember to win some something special like a SMALL custom app designed to their specifications -- up to say 20-40 hours of dev time?  I'd be volunteering to do the coding.. Could be an Android app, Desktop App, Web App..  So folks would enter by submitting their idea -- and only those I thought I could do within 40 hours would qualify -- which will eliminate a fair amount of entries I'm sure.

Not sure it's worth the effort if most people don't have a (qualifying) idea they want coded.. In other words most potential donors may not be attracted to the idea, so maybe it's a stupid idea.

That "thread aggregator" is one of the most powerful features of the opening forum page for me! First thing I do is *scroll down* to see what the threads are! Then I right-click a few of them to get ready for some reading.

You might also enjoy the list of recent topics and recent posts, both linked from the top of the forum pages.

but do note that the buttons currently do show on every page on the site (including non-forum pages); they are at bottom of sidebar on other pages.  The Like button does link to the main donationcoder facebook page that you and stephen have wonderfully created for us.

these buttons (including Reply) are faded out until/unless you mouse over the post, in other words the focus is on *reading* rather than interacting/replying, unless you want to.
