Am I the only one that can't find any hint of Stephen being offended by the term "tard" in this post, as claimed by Tinman, here, and has no clue why he told Stephen to "get over it"?

He wasn't telling stephen to get over the term... he was pre-emptively telling anyone that complained about it to do so.  Seemed pretty straightforward to me.

And to keep on topic... yet another funny gif.  Vader visits the new overlords...

If he gave the option to allow the popup window to behave according to my OS settings, it wouldn't lock the taskbar in its fully extended position like it does.

An annoyance under the best conditions.  With *your* task bar?

It's a matter of what the user base uses.  It sucks to that one user (and they lose the one sale), but the store owner doesn't stock things that don't sell.

Seriously though...are we playing the "Who is offended by what" card, in a thread marked as NSFW/Adult Content?

If ya don't like it...don't look at it...

Don't make me get the fucking hose out people.

Who determines what's low quality?  And what is the process for this, i.e. can you get back on?  Seems like a move towards the evil empire ecosystem...

This is the thread marked [NSFW/adult]: If you're easily offended, then don't have a look here :tellme:

Please leave it as it is, it's funny... in a way  ;)

Agreed. :)

I think I'm probably missing something again being a bitcoin neophyte. Limited in what way?

http://blockchain.in...harts/total-bitcoins

Bitcoin uses an inflation source method of Limited Release, i.e. the rate of inflation will be halved every 4 years until there are 21 million BTC.

I guess it depends on your definition of Off.

I had 3 accounts, and now I only have one.  The other two are nowhere to be found, and the e-mail addresses behind them receive nothing to do with facebook.

Still can't really get behind it 100% until it's possible to pay for the basic necessities with it, (rent, utilities, food) without having to convert it into traditional currency, first.

Well, that defines stock, gold... pretty much everything that's not hard curry.

It does persist progress.  Not sure by what mechanism it does it, but it does persist progress.  And that's the reason behind the endless scrolling.

I didn't read his posts as telling people what to invest in or where to invest, or even to invest.  More of as a cackling statement of glee of his success.  And I felt good for him, and feel that it's not a bad thing to celebrate success among our members (while of course kicking myself that I didn't do the same).

Those are some really good questions App... and unfortunately, I don't have the answer's to any of them :(  I tried to look up some of your answers, but found nothing unfortunately.  It's still very much beta software, so I suppose that will change as they get closer to production ready and people start posting about issues and such.

In Tribute To Lucasarts, Raven Releases The Source Code For Jedi Knight II (via Kotaku)

Very cool gesture... and very cool game!

And, though I hate to say it... LucasArts has been a shadow of itself for a long time.  All of its hits post tie fighter were developed by other companies.  So, if they're going to do that, straight licensing it rather than having a group that can't make a hit seems like a smarter financial move.

I tried to contact the developer of Classic Calendar... but no response :(  Without that, you'd have to develop from scratch.

I actually decided not to go with the Pi after consideration, and went with this one on sale:

Got it for just north of $100, and I have a full fledged machine... a good option to think about if you can find it for that price.

Windows Store Apps Succinctly - if its as good as the others, it's definitely worth more than the pricetag.  There's also an interesting promotion once you download it... especially considering that this is for Windows Store Apps:
