Damn Straight (and well worth it) If you're planning to be sitting in it for 16hrs at a time. I'm not sure what the wife paid for the one I got for Christmas but I think it was in the $300 range, and that was after a good-buddy discount during a half-off last year's inventory sale.
Little details like the back reclining independently of the seat are heavenly when you've been sitting for 10hrs straight. (I'm 43 btw...) I keep the seat tipped a bit forward (tend to lean into the screen a bit) and I can sit cross-legged (level and comfortably) and am still able to lean back with out having my knees leverage the keyboard outa the desk.
I'll try to find out who it's made by and post a pic ... but yes do spring for a top shelf chair ... you'll thank yourself later.
