N.A.N.Y. 2011 / Re: NANY 2011 Release: Color Warlock
« Last post by hamradio on December 31, 2010, 07:17 PM »
Just updated with chart builder and mini help file. This is probably the last version before US New Year, so Happy New Year. :)

@hamradio
Any progress about palettes import feature? Maybe you could make it pluginable?

If not, here's nice (and very simple) idea which should work for GIF files import:

Not as of version 1.0.0 builder 250. Possibly later feature of the chart builder though.

I've been busy with Christmas and such and haven't had much time to play with it much more, but I will be adding a editor to it at some point for the ccf files and a few other things possibly.

Way further down the road maybe for the file formats as this is a pretty specialized program to output like it is now.

As for that Zeta Color Editor the only one mine does not have is the first tab (Custom) which is a full color selector dialog.  You can do the web (Non System Colors in mine), system (System Colors in mine), (Note: You can also show both at once if you pick All Known Colors.) as those are built into Color Warlock also. As far as schemes you can create your own Color Wizard palette file (.ccf) to use. Color Warlock just dont have the custom tab of the Zeta Color Editor. As for the desktop picker that may be next in line but only to copy a custom value not in the palette to clipboard.

If its bad service from the server just leave em 9 cents a nickel and 4 pennies...they should get the hint. (Not worth a dime.)

It has to be a nickel and 4 pennies though so they should know you left it like that on purpose.

From what I have read plugin container is new starting with 3.6.4...and does...

    From 3.6.4 release notes...
"Firefox 3.6.4 provides uninterrupted browsing for Windows and Linux users when there is a crash in the Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime or Microsoft Silverlight plugins.

If a plugin crashes or freezes, it will not affect the rest of Firefox. You will be able to reload the page to restart the plugin and try again."

Edit: Thats what plugin-container does or should do.

    Additionally...
    plugin-container.exe • mozillaZine Forums

Make sure the text size can fit in the text box. I tested it and it seems if it is too big then it will look like it is hidden as when I resized the text size down enough it showed up.

    CoLT :: Add-ons for Firefox
    screen_07012010_001.png

CoLT makes it easy to copy either a hyperlink's text or both the link and the link's text (in a format you specify). Two handy context-menu items make this possible, and don't add clutter; the items are only visible when right-clicking a link!
-Description from the page "CoLT :: Add-ons for Firefox"

You can add your own customizable copying of link text from it as seen in the screenshot from the options dialog above. I think it is useful for posting to forums and other sites.

For copy page title and location right click anywhere on the page that is not a link then go down to the sub menu for CoLT and you can select how you want the page link formatted you are currently viewing.

You might see if going to Settings then Appearance tab and checking the Automatic preview options and if that don't work...

You might also try going to Settings then General tab and checking Use Inline Mode.

Either one of those worked for me in a test and I am on win7 64bit also.

Ham Radio guys I think 98% of the conversation is about the rig, how they built it, what problems etc..  If you're not part of the soldering iron crowd, you prolly won't set one up in the first place or do what's required to get a ham license.

    ...

Amateur (ham) radio has clubs out there that provide valuable services including but not limiting to helping with emergency communications in the time of need.

I.E. Providing communications from emergency shelters, helping out with community events, trained spotters for weather, and other emergencies where normal communcation might fail.

See Also: ARRL Public Service; ARES; RACES; and more...

One Real Life example this year...Windstream Suffers Significant 911 Outage

We even have chances to talk with the international space station through amateur radio when they fly over for a brief few moments.

    In closing...

Its not all about the equipment.

Congratulations on your fine new pix device.
I am shopping for a high-end DSLR right now.  What made you choose THAT ONE?  Your ideas would be very helpful for me.
I am just about to buy a Canon EOS 550D.

    Thanks!

I wanted a step up from a normal point and shoot and more zoom with a little more control but not full manual at this current time. So as for full DSLRs I cant help you much. Sorry.

My new digital camera which was funded all by DonationCredits and arrived April 30, 2010. Thank you!

The new camera is 12MP and is the FUJIFILM S1800 that came out just this year (March 2010 at Amazon).

A few pictures taken with my older 4MP digital camera and resized down below:

First is the camera box after opening the package from amazon...

    new_camera_box.jpg

Second is the camera and accessories excluding the basic manual and software that came with it...

    camera_and_accessories.jpg

Third is the SDHC card that I got to go with it...

    sdhc_card.jpg

Donating does make a difference and for all the donations I received from donators that are too numerous to name them all...

Heres one of the photos I have taken with the new camera (in super macro mode) and cut from 4000x3000 to 1680x1050 for my screen resolution so I could use it as a wallpaper image...

Compact AutoRunner includes a help file with it named "CompactAutoRunner.chm".  It was meant to be just a simple autorun tool though that I needed for my own use and just decided to release it to the public, but from your description and screenshot it is probably not the one for you.
