destructions say it uses 'wifi direct' which I gather is specific (peculiar?) to intel chipsets, though that shouldn't be an impediment to 'normal' operation

Using any brand printing via wifi has always been similar to that for me, remove, re-discover and re-add printer

Not to say mouser is wrong at all but as of this date never had any issues with softpedia. Most of their downloads are available as 'from softpedia server or author site' too.

On the subject of reviews, for modems and routers you will never get a consensus good or bad. TVs, computers and anything else you can name will never match modems and routers in that sense, believe me I know this.  You will have to go by one source you trust (for whatever reason) like for example here DC.

Well, for me it's too small, too application-specific and too expensive compared to many of the other contenders.
I'd go for an RPi-compatible board with more horse-power, as the RPi is 'rather sluggish', to say it nicely

I found out where's the problem with Wordfence

If you are referring to

/wp-includes/template-loader.php
/wp-includes/js/swfobject.js

Those are not Wordfence files, if a plugin uses WP's Includes folder to insert js and php files I would not use it to start with...
