Thanks.
But I still don't get it. He really expects the average person to go out and spend $1,000+ for a 600GB SSD?-Deozaan (June 18, 2011, 03:43 AM)
I can remember a time when I was thinking about spending 1000$ for a 20 MB hard-drive-phitsc (June 19, 2011, 04:26 PM)
Yeah, but at that time I'm pretty sure they didn't have 70MB drives that were a bit slower for $100.
Over three times as much storage space at one-tenth the price.-Deozaan (June 19, 2011, 05:21 PM)

@phitsc:"I really think we should look into making the site more mobile friendly. I'm afraid I mean the forums in particular. I see myself use my mobile phone more and more at home instead of the PC. I guess a tablet will replace that once I get one."
You might think that, but is it a valid and general requirement for DC Forum users?
For example, some people might ask the Q "How many DC Forum users:
- prefer to and do use the DC Forum as it is, on a PC screen, to read or post to the discussions that interest them?
- prefer to and do use only mobiles to read and post to the discussions that interest them?
- prefer to and do use a feed aggregator (e.g., Google Reader) to read all DC Forum posts, and only go into the DC Forum via PC to explore interesting threads or to post comments?"
There could be other, similar questions.
If we had some statistical data in answer to those questions, then we would have a clearer view of user requirements in this regard, and we could be in a position to establish with some degree of certainty whether changing things to be "more mobile friendly" would be a productive exercise and an effective use of scarce resources, for the short term and/or the longer term.-IainB (June 10, 2011, 08:01 PM)

You do realize that there is a limit to the number of times one can install FARR, don't you?
Better find a suitable job soon!
Didn't I see that mouser is working on a new project? FAJR, I think it is called.-cranioscopical (June 10, 2011, 03:22 PM)

Just did it again. Unfortunately, the fun did not last as long as I had hoped. Well, hoping for better luck this time... it's looking very promising at least-phitsc (June 10, 2011, 02:04 AM)

... How about driving over a cliff because a pop-up add for applesauce blocked the windshield in a turn ... This really is getting ridiculous.-Stoic Joker (June 06, 2011, 06:52 AM)

I read on Joystiq that the Store is already up enough (in USA) that you can buy stuff.-Deozaan (May 31, 2011, 03:17 PM)
