I set my windows display settings to use large fonts. Now, text is being clipped in the preferences dialog (and possibly elsewhere). Also, miscellaneous is misspelled.

Scroll Capture is not working for me: When I choose scroll capture, I see it scrolling the window, but when I save the file it only contains the visible region. I am using Windows XP Pro and ScreenCaptor 2.103.01

You could just use Total Commander: a) it let's you create descriptions for files and b) I wrote a PowerPro script that will unzip a file into a folder with the same name.

Honestly, other than being able to use more than 4GB of RAM, I can't think of any good reason to switch to Vista 64. There's the whole 32-bit vs 64-bit program issue which has made several programs less useful under Vista 64 than they would be under Vista 32. And I have had significant problems installing/running admittedly older games on Vista 64.

It's not really what I am looking for, although it is a step in the right direction. It looks like an interesting progam though.
Some of the other programs on their site look interesting as well.
I sent the developer of Badges my idea. Hopefully they will be able/willing to enhance the program. They have an ASCII captcha, which I though was hilarious:

I haven't seen anything like it either. And since I haven't an artistic bone in my body, I was hoping someone would be able write a program that would take icon A shrink it by X%, place it on top of icon B and create icon C.

I've used PowerPro on and off since it was Stiletto and I actually registered it before it became freeware. I have a love/hate relationship with it - it does so many things, but personally, I find it's scripting language hideous!
Currently, I use TrueLaunchbar. I only use about 10% of its functionality (which goes for PPro was well), but I really like being able to see CPU/Memory usage in the taskbar. The problem I have with Samurize, widgets, etc. is that you have to minimize everything to see them. Or, if they are on a dock, you end up popping it up by mistake all the time when you are trying to move or resize a window.

It's not a free download, but this sounds like exactly what you want. I've never tried this particular app, but most of the PC Mag apps I have tried have been spot on.

There are a slew of programs out there that will let you customize your explorer folder icons. But I can't find any program that will easily let me create the icon that I want. What I want is program that will let me select a folder icon and then select an icon from an exe and overlay the exe icon on the folder icon.

After about 20 minutes of searching on Google, I found something that worked (at least for the text I needed to capture today) - http://www.ghacks.ne...-convert-it-to-text/
