In Indonesian it sounds a little like 'jampi' which means 'spell' or 'curse' but since the spelling is different, it's OK. You don't read nicknames aloud when you're reading forums, do you?

1) because with electronics it's always powers of two. 1KB = 2^10B = 1024B. 2) 1024b. 3) byte. a bit can only contain 0 or 1. 4) I'm sure it's meant to be 2^10.

when i was younger, wild chameleons were common around my neighborhood. i've seen them change skin colors but until now i thought that it was for camouflage. it is surprising to know that they do it according to their mood and for communication. nice!
