I wanted to eject/stop my external USB HDD(s). Being lazy I found this on the web. It's versatile, and it works, and it's free.

USB Disk Ejector from http://quickandeasysoftware.net/software

Among other things it can:

•     Eject the drive that the program is running from.
•     Eject a drive by specifying a drive letter.
•     Eject a drive by specifying a drive name.
•     Eject a drive by specifying a mountpoint
•     Eject a drive by specifying a partial drive name.

In case anyone else needs a fast solution.

Did you find a way to point it at a '.bin' other than Temp\etc.? There's a field to change this but, here, any compile reverts to Temp\etc and shows an error.

In my first post of the thread I've added links to 3 books that i would recommend to anyone interested in doing their own car maintenance.
I would *HIGHLY* recommend those as gifts if you have a friend or relative who might be curious about their car.

It did happen to me — escaped with some nasty bruises and bad cuts but nothing broken — I didn't enjoy the experience at all!

Do it indoors, somehow.
Buy a decent suit of overalls.
If you mess with the brakes and lose some fluid, make sure you top up and bleed the system.
Write down all that you do at every step so that you have a good chance to reverse the process/reassemble stuff.
Make a will.

Well, in that case you can go and… oh, you mean for the icon 

Perhaps simply a red 'X' I don't know if any other software uses that as its icon. Or your own 'R' icon. If not that, perhaps just a solid block of colour— anything, really, to indicate  that those particular spaces are intentional.

It's a better idea, I think.

With 2540 I get some blank buttons in unexpected slots. Is this what you meant by "The buttons tend to move around a bit."?

At the moment, starting from the right, top, I have 4 blanks, 1 icon, 1 blank, 2 icons.

[I had a minor error when opening the file in Excel 2007. It was corrected thus, Repaired Records: String properties from /xl/sharedStrings.xml part (Strings)]
