Am i missing a plugin or somethin'?
FARR won't launch .odt files.

OpenOffice is sitting idle on the Taskbar waiting for command.

I do believe things work differently if your running from a notebook or desktop.
Shortcuts are much harder to find with a notebook.

Nutty,

With regards to Chrome, that's pretty good to know about. Have you tried them? Did you notice any change in speed at start up or page rendering?  Any CPU usage increase?
479
Firefox 3.5 may be slow at clean start up but usually starts up much faster after initial system boot. Otherwise, it is faster than IE6,7,8 and whatever plugin browser that goes with it. Google Chrome 3 is probably fastest at present but you don't have adblock nor plugins (addons or widgets) to enhance your browsing experience. Shucks, it doesn't even have mouse gestures!  :o

Vulnerabilities for Lunascape? Probably not much of an issue anymore as all major browsers keep making security updates. Just like AV programs. If you get hacked it's because they don't have the means to resolve the issues yet or... you haven't kept your AV updated?

Sometimes websites have a multitude of links to different "books" for example.
I don't want to search all the books but just one specific.

Laschiec,

I think you just shared another tip that should make you a place on the Opera fans alltimers' list!

That little closing bracket at the end of your script is essential.
Since there was no opening one, at first I thought it was left over so i didn't bother putting it in.
It didn't work. So then i added just that last bracket as you reported and it works!  8)

Many thanks!

Just curious... if i want to search multiple words that are united, should i place them between these brackets " " ?

To Opera users,

I have a nice bookmarklet that allows you to "search site" but if i could search specific pages, that would be handy at times. Is this possible?

Didn't post at Opera's forum as they are usually slow, even slower today.
Must be the distance between the two sponds of the Altantic.

Here's a view of the files within the downloaded zip file.
Is it possible a file (or more) is missing?

Just unzipped it with WinZip into plugins section (again).
You'll notice the "icon" folder at the top which is the only new one that shows up and the last four files that belong to your program.

Do you mean there's a default folder already there?
Unless it carries a name i'm not familiar with, it's not in my plugins one.

phitsc,

It's my turn to apologize for not responding much faster as i too, was enjoying some holiday time!  :)

Yes, issue is same a initially posted.
One thing i did notice (but don't think it has a major impact), when unzip to the plugins section there is no specific folder installed for your files. They're just loose.

Although i'm pretty much satisfied with the Acronis copy i have, i thought i'd share this find on:

Hi,

I would like to reclaim some unallocated disk space on my notebook but XP isn't too user friendly in that regards.
Couldn't find a good answer on the web so i hope someone can.

Much obliged!

http://www.francaisfacile.com/ is a nice place too!

You can get into other languages there as well.
What's neat is by clicking on words you can get the pronunciation (may work with IE and Firefox only, not sure).

Oh. Well. Not quite what i was hoping for but at least i know where FARR is at now.

Perhaps i can add to the wishlist the option of clicking on the respective columns of the results page to see files by date or file types etc.

phitsc,

I've not lost interest in this plugin!
Have recently reinstalled my notebook and it's a no go.
Is it possible that it won't work with XP Home loaded with SP2 ?

Hi,

FARR is still by far the best in its' category!

I classify many documents with 09/07/07 (y/m/d) typed in at the beginning but it doesn't seem to be too practical with FARR searching. Could someone enlighten me on this?
