Try this one.
It has that ability.
Free too.

Thanks erikts, I have a few clipboard programs and it's always cool to see how each one can be useful.
I don't run them all at the same time, but knowing that I have the ability to change to certain ones for specific purposes is nice to have.

Is SC opened with run as admin?
Close it and open it as admin.
Or.
Uninstall SC, and reinstall it as admin.

Just some thoughts you probably already thought of.
479
Have you tried the 'prtScn' key with those apps running?
If it works you can always crop your shot in SC's editor that can be selected after the shot.
Without disabling your preferred UAC setting.

A couple that are interesting and different for reading and art.
My favorites, that others may not know of,
so a good place to post them I think.....

I'm friends with Todd Guess, an artist, and he is involved in the many parts of the other site's activities, as well as his own doings, which are similar in nature.

Living Room / Re: The Downfall of Internet Advertising
« Last post by cmpm on May 24, 2012, 08:22 PM »
Learning of a product via 'word of mouth' is the best advertising there is.
You get to hear the good and bad of such things.

Of course you need to to find what people are really saying.
By way of forums like this one or face to face.

I don't trust ads, either on the net or the TV.

The ads are mostly misleading in the TV sector.
They say things that are designed to make it look good,
but if you really look and learn what is said,
it's to make you think it's a good product and better then others.

For instance, 'dollar for dollar ******** gives you more'.
That says nothing of any value about the price and service.
A slogan they use to make you think it's better.

Web ads are designed to get you to their site, to read the info.
The testimonies about the product are their choices.
So not much to go on.
Most are fairly good at saying what the product can do.
But not what it can't do.

Anyway, I block ads because I don't shop that way.
If I could I would block TV ads too.

I would like to donate to what I have received for free.
But I just don't have the money.
What I do, is recommend sites and products I like, with what I think of them.

Thanks Stoic Joker,

I did not intend this topic to be about that,
but since it came up, there it is.

Maybe there should be a topic about 'Giveaway of the Day',
what is liked or disliked about it.

A simple heads-up on a good program given away was my intent.

Open the images with a program that will let you open more then one at a time.
Crop, resize or whatever, line them up and take a Screenshot of it.

Or my original thought was to use Frameless,
which opens as many images as you want to, on your desktop.
Put them where you want them and take a Screenshot.
You may have to resize or crop before opening with Frameless.

Have you never opened the AVG window? Usually adverts there.

I also hate AVGs regular scans that seem to grind your system to a complete standstill.

Yes, why scan the same stuff on a schedule.
On demand is better, if you suspect trouble.

Eset has web access protection, and, if you check the options and advanced options.
I think one may be impressed with this new version 5.

It also allows you to take no action on any threat detected.
Such as OC, opinions about that vary, but it will block it, if you want it to.

And yes, no one security program, will completely protect you. Others can help.
I would suggest Malwarebytes, not malewarebytes, a counterfeit I've seen come up.

This may still work to remove the popups.
An article from 2009 by dottech.
So I'm not sure if this info will still work.

comments on the subject-

Personally I got tired of Avira and switched to Eset's Antivirus, which is a paid for solution.
But worth it in my opinion.

Has anyone been successful in downloading and installing their application on XP?

I am getting "not a valid Win32 application" errors when attempting to run the installer. I have downloaded it countless times, with different browsers, same issue every time.

XP is not supported. Too bad too, I have friends still running XP that would like this.

A clipboard manager program of your choice always seems essential to me.
And a ScreenshotCaptor program. Mouser's is my choice there.
'Everything' search program.
Ccleaner, I have session always checked for when FF crashes.
Helps for a clean start without trouble with the same pages.

This addon for FF can open different sets of images in another tab.
Either all Images or what it determines as the main highlights.
Or it an make the whole page an image, it is an interesting addon imo.

lol, that would be a great thread
i think an app would have too many options to choose from :)
With 20 categories of options in SC, so far,
it might be a very long thread!

Testing the problem...
1st shot-
Changing the default to jpg, it wanted to save as png - my original default- till i changed it manually to jpg.
2nd shot auto saved to jpg as is set in the default.
Not having the same problem here-only had to manually change once, after changing default.
Then it stuck with it.

Maybe reinstall SSC or upgrade to latest if you haven't yet.
Here's the default page I assume you use-

Thanks J-Mac.
Some things are truly burnt out of my life,
other things, not yet.

My point is when people hang out long enough together,
there is going to be things that happen.
To know how to handle or when to drop a matter is an art I believe.

Especially with a forum on the net where meanings are misunderstood.
Just by the very nature of typed words and not face to face conversations.

I think many people can't find the proper places to 'vent'.
Or not wanting to get involved in such sites.
So it comes out here where they hang out mostly. I think.

I'd say most everyone here has been screwed over in one way or another.
Personally I have had to deal with some major issues that included multiple other issues.
They overlap into everything, it seems.

Hanging with the same crowd, these things are bound to come up occasionally.
If we could nail down the cause or problem, that could help redirect our thinking.
And not 'project' our own thoughts into what someone may say.
But, look a little closer at our selves and see how we receive what is said without making snap posts.

I still have to deal with some things more than I want to.
Some say 'get over it'.
To that (and not them) I say fuck you in my mind....usually.

There is no getting over some things, temporarily, yes, and some things have died.
But overall it haunts me, because I remember and associate, poorly sometimes.
And it comes out wrong when some buttons are pushed.

not even OCRed. Does that make a difference?

Yes, that would make it easy, if it's converted to a .png or .jpg.
Use ScreenshotCapture's editor or another editor that can blackout sections.
Then to be sure, take a screenshot of the finished product.
