one of the Actual tools - Actual Window Menu was recently given away at GAOTD. it is worth the while to keep an eye there since sometimes they repeat the giveaways..

cool list but at least 5 of the tools can replicated with Autohotkey reducing them to a single EXE file.. :)

i was about to say that you must be a brave man to stick with AOL after the Kaspersky debacle but thankfully AOL shot themselves in the foot.. :)
4561
most probably Kaspersky plugged the plug since they're not the preferred partner anymore.. or maybe McAfee is modifying the program to retrieve updates from their servers. anyway, i'm having the same problems too but i'm not waiting to find out.. i'm now recommending AVG Free to everyone.. :)

btw, i'd like to quote you from the other thread.. :)
if the kaspersky version suddenly stopped updating properly then that wouldn't be too much fun but i doubt that they can do that.

when it comes to games, it's better to rely on the games' internal screen-capturing ability. and also try Fraps.. :)

FRAPS show fps, record video game movies, screen capture software.

a free version of Atlantis Nova would do the trick.. you have to google for it though as the developers no longer keep the free version on their website..

some minor feature updates:
• allow mouse-clicks to pass through the Gui
• stop Win+D from minimizing the Gui
• tray icon to emulate normal tray volume icon (now you can turn off the default one)

get the latest update here. also use Win+q to exit the program.. :)

I usually glance at the give-aways but a recommendation heightens my interest.
I grabbed this one; the price is right.

exactly my thoughts too, a post here means the product deserves a 2nd look.. i'm going for my 2nd look, even though i already have them resizers a-plenty.. :)

Mr Uptime is an extension that will come in handy when you encounter a website that is not accessible.. Just add that website to this extension's list and it will keep trying to reach that website in the background and notifies when the website is accessible again. :)

reading this thread prompted me to do some googling & came close with this blog entry.. according to commenter #8, "Most non US Yahoo! sites offer free POP3 so its best to stick to them for a while." so maybe POP access varies from domain name to another.. :)
