I have the update available. You can now open .m3u8 files though it will not know the artist or album since there is no direct location for the files.

I can make it auto-refresh the drive list, but removing the drive letter from one and not the other when selected might not be so easy. I may just have to show a warning if both are set to the same letter. I'll see what I can do and should have something tomorrow.

Hmm. Well moving a group of items is not possible, sorry about that I should have said. :-( I'll put in to protect from that and it would cause problems and the error.

I'll add the ability to drop folders.

Let me see if I understand. You want a utility that you can drag and drop or select music from one (or both) of those drive letters and have it replace the letters with \MUSIC\ and \<microSD1>\ respectively and be able to randomize the list and save it as a file with .m3u8 extension <MyMix.m3u8>. Is that correct?

Announce Your Software/Service/Product / Sweet Clip
« Last post by c.gingerich on August 03, 2013, 07:35 PM »
Have you ever wanted to copy many files from different folders and paste them into a different folder? Videos or music perhaps? To do that now in windows you need to go to the first folder select the files to copy then go to the destination folder and paste. Then go to the next folder then copy the files and back to the destination folder and paste... well with Sweet Clip you can now append files to the clipboard. Just keep selecting the files and choose Append To Clipboard from the context menu. Then when you are done, finally go to the destination folder and paste like normal. ALL the files you appended will be pasted into that folder.

To give it a try go HERE and download! HERE is a video showing how it works.

This is a simple little app requested by nkormanik that runs a program and kills the task after a specified amount of time.

You can download and view more about Run And Kill here.
472
Sorry about that. Give it a try again, the file didn't completely upload. Should be working now.
473
Here is the page as well as an update. I added the items from previous post.

http://starpunch.blogspot.com/2013/06/run-and-kill.html
474
I wanted to add a check to see if the program that is going to be run, is running already running and was going to add a task icon in the tray so it can be killed early if needed. I think that is it for now unless I think of something else. I'll add these items as soon as I can and make a post for it on my site as well as in the "Announce Your Software/Service/Product" section here on DC.

I'm glad you like it and it works well for you.

Here is a quick command-line app I made (can also use an ini file. See ReadMe.txt). If it works for you I'll make an official app.

How to use: RunAndKill.exe "<Full path to exe>" <Killtime>

Killtime must be in HH:MM:SS format.

See the ReadMe.txt file for more info.
