I'd consider the folks here at DC to generally be fairly internet-savvy.

There's a nifty thing called hyperlinks that allow people to see the entire URL without having to actually display the whole thing. (c:

I have to share something with you all that happened to me this evening...guy to guy.

Did this really happen to you? Or are you just sharing something you got in your e-mail with us?

I think the humor is that it is intentionally awful. I hope it was intentional anyway. . .

Living Room / Re: Movies or films you've seen lately

I recently watched the entire Twilight series for the first time (I had previously seen the first movie, but none of the others).

None of them were that great, but Breaking Dawn Part 1 was possibly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I thought Part 2 was fairly decent, but maybe that's because I had just seen Part 1 and almost anything would seem amazing compared to that. . .

Can you people resize your images to sane resolutions? IMO these images don't need to be larger than, say, 800x600 or so. The thumbnails are a bit too small, but the fullsize are just way too huge.

(Didn't notice there was a new page where Stephen actually posted sanely sized images until after I submitted this)

NECRO-THREAD REVIVAL!

Dirpy has been resurrected, so I figured I'd resurrect the thread about it's death, too. Hooray for Dirpy!

But I still use pwnyoutube.com to get to Dirpy and other "YouTube DVR" websites.

Now,how about the oft seen (at least, from USA sites) "I could care less" ... if someone could explain the logic in that one I'd be amazed.

I could care less if someone makes the mistake of saying they could care less about something.

No, really, I could. In fact, I'd prefer to care less about it. It bugs me, perhaps more than it should.

I just tried this last night because I couldn't find a can opener. All I managed to do was mangle the lid of the can. I didn't break through.

Maybe I'm just not strong enough. :(

I mean the entire article is a fake. It's satire. It's not a real article. It's something from The Onion or a similar satire "news" site. Notice how it's an image, and not even a link to a real text and photo article?

No date, no links, even the URL in the "article" gives a 404 error. It's a fake.

But it is pretty humorous.  :D ;D

But really, why is their and there, your and you're so difficult?

  But what about They're?

They'res no difference between there and their. I hope this answers you're question. If so, your welcome.
