DC member Hamradio made a pretty nice color tool called Color Warlock.. maybe this is a feature he would consider adding to it.

Believe it is already added to my program. See below its in the chart builder for my program mouser mentioned.



Does not need installing just don't put it in a location like program files so it saves the configuration settings correctly to the program directory.

Save the charts to the custom directory and it will appear automatically in the Charts "Custom" menu with a small color preview beside it.  If you save elsewhere then you can use the open temporary color chart to open it.

Use that part then save the chart then it is possible to view the charts in main window.

Tip: You do not need to type in a hex for start color or end color as it can also come from a double click on the start color preview or end color preview to set the color to the current color that is in the color box. (Color box is the box above where it says AliceBlue in screenshot.)  So if you got the RGB set it in basic tab, then double click the color preview in blend to set it to that color.

You can have multiple color charts too with the rgb and hex values able to be copied with left/middle/right clicks. (Can customize the mouse button copy actions.)

Notice anything wrong with the highlighted area?

Yep...they call it a software updater...but...I managed to beat them to noticing 17.0.5 of Thunderbird and updated before they even realized 17.0.5 was the latest version...

How can that be a software updater if they don't see the update before you...

Note: The other softwares was blanked out by Screenshot Captor 4.0+ Patching Effect.

Time I checked was 11:15 pm eastern time on 04/03/2013.

The Window-title doesn't show the actual directory selected in the browser on the left

I'm confused as to what you are saying -- the SC window title shows the directory you are currently in or the full path to the current file.  Doesn't it? Shouldn't it?

It does not for me. I switch to say OLDER and it still says the screenshot path and I click on a file and it doesn't load either.  I switch back to the main one and it loads as well.

@hamradio: Yes, I also use the amazingly useful CoLT, and I initially thought of it when I read about QuoteURLText, but they are not the same thing. QuoteURLText picks up the text and related metadata for pasting,

Just released 2.1.0 build 1...

RECOMMENDED UPDATE:

1. Import in the chart builder now contains JASC-PAL and Gimp Palette.
2. Custom text color override for the chart text color in options menu.
3. Optimized some code which should result in faster loading of large chart files.

He did. Definitely in the wrong on that point. But as most of us (including we sysadmins) seem to be leaning, the school's response was way out of proportion to the offense that was committed. So much so that it doesn't make sense...

I can't help thinking there's still something more behind this incident than what is being acknowledged. I'm guessing this student got caught up in something else that was going on at Dawson (perhaps an ongoing investigation into an earlier or much more serious network breech?) and those behind it thought they had finally "got their man."

If so, some of the rabidness on the part of Dawson starts to make a bit more sense. As does their insinuation that there's more going on than they can publicly discuss. Which would certainly be the case if there was a police investigation currently in progress over something that had happened on Dawson's network.

Oh well...as time passes, more will come out.

The question though to me is what was in the "protocol" that he signed...like if it wasn't followed and such...like consequences.  So until that is posted in truth one has to assume that the "protocol" made him a "professional" and that it had a thing in it saying he could be expelled for not following them...

Meaning, use this technique in the new beta version?
It's nice to have some work around, but I'm assuming you will try to fix it (eventually) so the toggling / changing a text box isn't necessary?  Mainly because most won't know / remember to use the work around steps.

Tomos - I'm not sure either, what the sizes for fonts in SSC represent - or just a generic numeric value.  Definitely not pt. size.

Im not mouser, but what I think mouser is saying to do with the new version he put up is to see if its fixed by doing that on existing ones or you can see if its fixed just by creating a new one probably.

What it does:
Sits at the bottom of your oven and anything that would normally drip onto the bottom of your oven drips onto it.  Can be easily removed and cleaned and reused.

Right now it uses cmd.exe to do its launching as was needed for what ConstanceJill was wanting.  I may make a option that can be toggled at some point that redirects it to a specified window as specified in the options as well that will find and send the text to a window instead of through cmd.exe.

Sorry for the delay myarmour, but I have gotten around to working on it a little tonight and I have got a global color value that saves it to the global prefs tonight and it can be toggled, but it remembers the last used setting.  It will be in the next version I upload

Updated and removed the single instance for now as got sinus crud and never felt like programming much on it.  This will be the last release for NANY unless any other major bugs found.  Will work on it more after I get better and in the new year.

Hey there .o/

I've been using version 1.0.89 build 1 this week and I saw the window about being allowed to run only one instance.
However I didn't find an option in the GUI to choose whether or not to allow it.
Also, in my opinion, it would be better if possible, when only one instance is allowed, to make it so that, when trying to run another instance, the window of the existing instance would come up on top of other windows which may be hiding it, instead of displaying this warning window.

I love the resize helper, btw  
And yes, the vertical scrollbar thing definitely seems fixed. Thanks again

1. Unless it is minimized the existing instance should come to the top of other windows after displaying that window through a windows api call.  I am also still fiddling with a easy way make it only one instance on demand.  I may comment it out till I can figure out the easiest way.

MINOR UPDATE

1. Hopefully fixed the vertical scrollbar from appearing after a minimize when it was not showing before minimization.
2. Hopefully fixed the DropDownWidth bug.
3. Added <var> that will allow you to specify it as many times as you want in both prefix and suffix. (If not specified then old method works of putting it in the middle of prefix+suffix.)
4. Added another button parameter to allow you to specify if the command window should stay open once command is done. (Useful for commands that need information reviewed.)
5. Added a resize helper that shows the outline of the buttons when resizing the form.
6. Added Move Left/Right One to the context menu of each button and separator.
7. Hopefully did not break anything, but let me know if I did and I will set about to fix it with a hotfix update.

Note: See first post for download url.

As for showing the whitespaces in the textbox I am not sure it would be possible with a normal textbox.

I have to think myself about an space sign after the Command Prefix.

This had be more intuitive for me on my first test then just "automatically add the variable" to the command line.

Can you please add an option check box like "[X] don not close command line window" and so call "comspec /K" ?

The name was the idea of ConstanceJill on the forums here who originally requested an app like this. So I just used it as I thought it was a good name for an application.

1) Let me know if its still there in the next version as I hope I have fixed that.

2) I don't think I should put a forced space in it therefore the user should.  (e.g. Some commands a user may want to use could be undesirable to have a space after the prefix which if I forced a space would mess it up. Therefore for the notepad example just enter notepad followed by a space for prefix, then you wont have to think about that anymore for that command as it will have the space by default.)

3) Not sure I understand what you mean. Maybe you could clarify or someone else could. But do you mean similar to the other macros? If so I implemented it for prefix and suffix, old way where it places it in the middle of prefix and suffix should still work too in case you don't want to specify it for some buttons.

4) Added to each button.

5) Yes that might show up in a later version.

Update still planned.  New version tomorrow or Friday sometime after noon my time. (Eastern Standard Time)

Hmm I think I found a minor interface issue in version 1.0.75 build 1 : if one opens the program window and sets it in any way where there is no vertical scrollbar, then reduces the application to taskbar by clicking its button, and restores the window by clicking the taskbar button again, then a vertical scrollbar appears.

Thanks for the report and yep I found that the other day myself and just forgot to update the first post saying it was known and hopefully fixed the next time I upload.   I have also implemented resize helper by showing a button border when you are resizing the form and hiding it when resizing is ended so you know where to stop if you want a good looking form. On that note look for a new version sometime between now and Friday.

Hope you had a good vacation and I did a update to have the variable and favorites on one line by default, but you can take it back to two lines if preferred over the one line style in the preferences. As always let me know if you see any glaring bugs that I missed.
