What's the URL that you're going to?

EDIT:

I see what I did. I accidentally replaced the index.html file with the webplayer file, but it was still cached on my system. The link should work now (if you clear your cache).

btw, apk download only leads to an embedded unity-player page. am i missing something?

The link to the APK download in the post above should take you to the Game's "official page" which has links to download it for desktop or Android devices. Look for the giant QR codes.

Living Room / DonationCoder & Cody themed art compilation thread
« Last post by Deozaan on September 16, 2013, 08:08 PM »
Hi folks,

I'd like to gather all DC related art into a single thread so that it is easier to find. Here's what I've found so far:

How Tall Is Cody?
DonationCoder.com Wallpapers Set 1
DonationCoder.com Wallpapers Set 2
DonationCoder.com Wallpapers Set 3
NEW Cody Wallpapers for Halloween (and old Halloween wallpaper)
Desert Island
Desert Island NANY Mug
Draw Cody Competition
DonationCoder.com Games Division (and Docoto Defense concept art)
NANY 2011 MUGs
Cyber Cody & Zombie Cody

I know I'm missing the pictures of the Dalmation Snake and Cody's Uncle. Will you help me find any art that I'm forgetting/missing?

But not those farming/gardening/animal tending games. I have standards.

I got the impression that the implied game was something like Animal Crossingw. It's so much more than the typical farming/gardening/animal tending games. But it could still perhaps be "below" your standards. (c:

Hi folks,

In April 2012 I participated in the Ludum Dare 23 72-hour game jam and made a game called "Be Tiny, World!" within 72 hours. I'm not particularly proud of the result but it was a fun little exercise and I enjoyed the challenge of making a complete game within 72 hours.

Since the challenge, I used Be Tiny, World! as an opportunity to try my hand at porting a game to Android, and shortly thereafter made an Android release. And over the months I've occasionally made some improvements (mostly to the Android version) to the otherwise simple, dumb game that it is.

Recently Google launched their Google Play Game services to provide things like Cloud Saves, Leaderboards, Achievements, and Multiplayer. Once again I was itching to test some of these things out so I used Be Tiny, World! as the guinea pig this past weekend and added achievements and leaderboards to the Android version of the game, and in the process I also made some minor improvements to the desktop version of the game, and additionally, there is now a Linux build of the game available.

So for anyone who would like to try out the nifty new achievements and leaderboards on Android, you can get the game either from Google Play or a direct APK download here (using Google Play or the Google Play Games Services is completely optional). And for those of you folks who use Linux, I'd appreciate if you gave it a try and reported any bugs, since this is the first release available on Linux. The desktop builds for PC/Mac/Linux can be found on the Be Tiny, World! website:

Thanks!

GOG.com is 5 years old & they're giving away Stargunner. your move now, Steam. *

* Steam is 10 this year

They're already giving away Team Fortress 2. And most games can be bought (eventually) for 75%+ off.

But yeah, nice move by GOG. (c:

Did that NANY 2009 B image ever actually get used? I have a NANY 2009 mug and it's the standard image, but I thought I'd always elected for the non-standard image when I got my mugs. . .

The "theme" for the mug is up to whoever designs it (if we don't use our standard one).

Please don't just use the standard one. Don't get me wrong, I really like the original NANY mug design, but what I like even more is my collection of NANY mugs each with a unique design.

We should have someone who is a regular on DeviantArt or PolyCount start some sort of competition/challenge for people to make Cody/DC related art. That would be cool.

Sounds like a nice feature.

You're right, of course. I didn't mean it was exactly that. I just figured if they can enable access to your library on multiple accounts, then maybe they can now allow you to be logged in to the same account on multiple computers.

It sounds to me like this Family Sharing will basically enable that feature. After all, if your library is shared and visible on another machine while you're logged in elsewhere, why couldn't you install the software without having to switch to/from offline mode? But I'm not really sure.

Hell yeah! Now I can get my wife to nerd out with me!

Um... Not with you as in at the same time as you:

Can a friend and I share a library and both play at the same time?
No, a shared library may only be accessed by one user at a time.

Awesome news!

It works as advertised (as far as I can tell) on my Nexus 7 Flo (2013). But I don't understand the point. The Task Switcher takes only two clicks/taps/touches to launch the previous activity. One to open the list of recently used apps, and one to launch the one you want. And since the previously used activity is always in the same position, it's not hard to rely on muscle memory to make it quick and "automatic" to the brain/body.

"Again" takes only one click/tap/touch at best, but possibly two or more if the icon isn't on the current "page" of your home screen you're viewing, so there might not be any benefit at all to using it.

Somewhat off topic, but I was listening to this track:

When I started watching this video:

When the narrator's voice kicked in (in the shrimp video) I thought maybe the music was also the soundtrack to the shrimp video, since his voice matches the vocals in the song.

I'm probably not explaining that very well. But try it yourself. Play the Lemon Jelly song first, and then start the Mantis Shrimp video about 20 seconds later. (c:

Maybe I'm just weird. Maybe it only works if you're already familiar with the song and the song's narrator guy person.

Living Room / Re: My Gadget Idea: "Timestamper Disc"
« Last post by Deozaan on September 06, 2013, 01:32 PM »
I think it's not a bad idea to develop it as a mobile app. Sell packs of 100-500 stickers with unique 2D barcodes (QR codesw) that are just unique identifiers that you can assign to different tasks/meanings. Then use the mobile app on your phone to scan it to reset the counter.

This will have the benefit of it remaining cheap (stickers should be cheap to produce), thin, and the mobile app acts as the counter/timer with quick and easy to read displays and can also store a log and do a lot more fun stuff with the data.

Or just sell the app itself for a couple of dollars and let the user print out their own barcodes, or optionally sell the packs of QR code stickers for people who don't want to print out their own.

Wow, okay, a couple of angles to go for here.

What are you even talking about?

Do you offer courses in other languages?
Our current focus for Saylor.org is to provide an entire suite of courses in the English language. Currently, we do not have plans to translate our courses into additional languages; however, we welcome opportunities to work with other organizations who wish to do so.

After reading the above in the FAQ, I was disappointed in the poor writing and grammar used in CS101 Unit 1.1.1 reading assignment. It wasn't too bad, but had enough mistakes and eccentricities to bother me.

Then I read the assignment from Unit 1.1.2 which is so bad I'm not even sure it was originally written in English. I seriously wondered a few times throughout the document whether someone had just used Google Translate to get it into English. I probably could have dictated it in better English when I was in first grade, and probably could have written it myself with better style not many years after that.

It makes it hard to take the so-called college level course seriously when the writing is not up to par with even Junior High school standards. :(

Thanks for this, App! Somehow I missed it until today.

Does it never end? I ran dumpsysinfo and it really is dumping! Screen after screen of gobbledegook (it's all Greek to me!) and it just never ends. The command still hasn't finished yet.

I wish I could put DD-WRT on this thing.

Any chance of doing an FCC ID search, it may give us the real model.

Um... Does this help at all? I have no idea what I'm looking for in there.

FCC ID: I88C1000Z

https://apps.fcc.gov...amp;fcc_id=I88C1000Z

I did notice another brand/number on the label:

MitraStar WUXI-002

Which after Googling, led to this:

http://wikidevi.com/...PK5001Z_(CenturyLink)

Which led to this:

http://wikidevi.com/wiki/ZyXEL_C1000Z

Which says this: aka DSL-410GNU-B1B v2

Which is a dead end for me. Googling for DSL-410GNU-B1B v2 just links me back to that same webpage.

Have you tried typing help at the telnet prompt ?  Who knows it may spit out a list of commands.

Yep. But I'm not sure which one, if any, will do what I'm trying to do.

You might be interested in this: https://qwest.centur...adv-dynamic-dns.html

I think this just updates the IP address with my DynDNS account (which I already use the Dyn Updater client to do).

Here's another page that might help: http://opensimulator...AT.2FPort_Forwarding

This gives me instructions for the ZyXEL Prestige 660ME-61 DSL Router. Mine is a ZyXEL C1000Z DSL Router. When I telnet into the router, I don't get a menu like those pictures show. I get what I showed in the picture above.

Thanks for the attempts, though. (c:
