I stand by my suggestion that the post I commented on was not appropriate for this section, but the burn button feature idea post .. now that was funny.  ;D

Ah well welcome to the site.  The user interface looks like attractive.

Can you tell us more about the software -- what language you wrote it in and what motivated you to make it, etc.

I see it's on sourceforge but I don't see any source code available -- it is open source?
3955
Can you please tell us your relation to this software?

Screenshot Captor / Re: Auto save screenshots
« Last post by mouser on February 25, 2017, 05:50 AM »
what I want is for Screenshot Captor to automatically save my screenshot, to my hard drive, without my having to interact with a popup dialogue box.

Good man -- this is what I always recommend to people and it was how Screenshot Captor was originally designed to function.

All you need to do is configure the "After Capture Show.." option to select "Stay Minimized".
This option is so important that there are 3 different places you can set it: In the system tray menu, In the post-capture pop-up dialog itself if you have that currently set, and in the preferences on the "Interface Options" tab at the top.

Let me know if you have any trouble.

Living Room / Re: Removing Spam classification from your mail server
« Last post by mouser on February 24, 2017, 03:01 PM »
This is one of those super frustrating things.. As the big players have taken over providing email services, the blacklisters have slowly but surely decided that they don't care much if they falsely label a small domain/server as being a spammer.  It just doesn't seem to be worth their time to care about the issues.  I guess they figure that as long as they make sure to keep gmail happy, why should they expend customer service time trying to figure out if a small mail server is really spamming or not..

My experience has been that very little can convince them you are not a spammer once you get on their blacklist, other than just waiting it out and they will eventually remove you from their blacklist..

Although the price leaves something to be desired, I have to say I have been impressed with the smoothness of the process of using InstantSSL (comodo).

Clipboard Help+Spell / Re: CHS not copying text from column of cells

CHS has settings where you can tell it to ignore clips that are larger than a certain size -- they are on the Capture Options tab.

One thing you could test to see if the copy is resulting in TEXT on the clipboard is do the copy as you are doing it and then try to PASTE it into notepad or another text editor.  See what shows up when you try to paste into a text editor.

Well probably a better solution, which I think I did on the old forum, was to add a button/link to click to explicitly copy the code to clipboard, and have that do the copy instead of using Ctrl+C, and then use js there to ensure the copy is always properly done without extra spaces or line numbers.  But until then at least you have the workaround of using chrome.

It may be a browser issue -- what browser are you using? Have you tried chrome?

That's not your fault -- that should probably be considered a bug that it doesn't apply that when showing the post capture pop-up dialog -- i will fix.

It may be because you are using the "post capture pop-up dialog" option? If you tell SC to just show it's main window (or hide it's main window) after capture, does that solve the problem?

T-Clock / Re: T-Clock-2.4.2 - T-Clock stores now some of its settings differently.
« Last post by mouser on February 16, 2017, 04:28 PM »
as far as I know, settings was and is C:\Program Files\T-Clock\T-Clock.ini

Let's hope not, as that as an illegal place to store settings after winxp.

You should expect to find them somewhere under the User folder I'm guessing..
3968
how strange... that's definitely a valid theory, though it shouldn't be the case..
i'll check and report.

LaunchBar Commander / Re: Displaying Hints?
« Last post by mouser on February 16, 2017, 01:54 PM »
Let me look into it -- I can't remember if I had a reason for not showing hints in submenus or if it's just a bug.

Glad you are liking the program!

Of all the websites I have ended up on while searching for finance/investment info, the most useful one I've found so far is: http://www.investopedia.com

Their articles explaining concepts are reliably great.
