The solution to the skins is probably going to be:
1. There is a skin builder app, maybe someone can make some skins that look better at high dpi.
2. I could try to find a skin engine that is more compatible with high dpi stuff.
3. Don't use skins
4. Find a skin that looks ok with a shorter titlebar.

Uncheck the option to "Try to capture Aero Glass transparency effects" on the "Window Capturing 1" tab of preferences.

They seem to work on my tests, exactly as before, with one glitch -- the titlebar is shorter than one would like.

If you check out the FARR options dialog, it lets you click on parent node which just shows a line of text telling you to choose a child page.  This lets you move up and down the tree hierarchy with keyboard.
I can make SC work like that.

It certainly should copy every new DIFFERENT bitmap..
Note that there are settings that control how big a bitmap has to be before CHS will ignore it.. perhaps that is the problem?

Surely they aren't showing ads for those who paid for Windows 10.
But this is still a bad omen.

On the other hand it's just another reminder that you shouldn't be using windows explorer, you should be using one of the 3rd party alternatives.  This will just help spread the word to more people.

The latest beta includes some substantial under-the-hood GUI changes to support high-dpi monitors (where your Windows display settings are set to > 100% text size).

I'm hoping that this does not result in any oddities for normal windows users -- please let me know if anything looks off!

A number of other smaller changes are also included in this beta.

There was an issue when drawing arrows that the cursor was in the arrow text label and so ctrl+Z was trying to undo any typing for the label rather than the arrow action.  Latest version will have a fix.
