Living Room / Re: Categories of life?
« Last post by superboyac on May 25, 2010, 12:33 PM »Well, here it is. I've re-categorized everything. I had to edit some code to make it go reverse alphabetical.

Another tactic is to make a list of all your interests, be as specific as possible, and group from thereThat's what I had before, but it got messy because i couldn't sort it the way I wanted. I'd have Engineering, then miscellaneous, then software. i want Miscellaneous at the end (of course).
For example, if you have a category Engineering instead of Professional, I know what to expect when I click on it.-daddydave (May 25, 2010, 11:18 AM)
How about Personal, Professional, & UncategorizedI like it! I'd like to have something more fun that "uncategorized". I like the other two though. I'm definitely using those.

That would be great. And it would make me even less afraid to try out Macs. welcome!uh oh...there's going to be trouble. appleifreak, you've just wandered into the wrong neighborhood. I hope you are wearing the right colors...-superboyac (May 24, 2010, 12:19 PM)

About 4 and 5 if the kids in the next booth over from us were anything to go by last time we went out for pizza. Both kids were swearing up a storm and not being all that quiet about it either.Ha! Sad...seriously. I'm a 1st generation American, so a joke I like to make among friends in situations like that is to blame it on the "Americans". So, I'll be like, "See what happens with you Americans." Tongue in cheek, of course. Reminds me of a Russel Peters skit.
Both sets of well-dressed parents sat there talking to each other, totally oblivious to the words coming out of their kids' mouths - and the glares from most of the other tables.
Rather sad when you think about it...-40hz (May 24, 2010, 11:34 AM)

Yes, but it's worth it. Definitely the best program in it's class.... Super Flexible File Synchronizer ...., setting it up is more complicated ...-superboyac (May 18, 2010, 10:50 AM)
You can say that again... Methink the 30 days of trial, all will be needed!-Curt (May 18, 2010, 03:31 PM)
On a related note - software products that provide the option to download the installer as either an EXE or a ZIP file - but where the ZIP file contains nothing but the same EXE file.Ha! Seriously...goes back to what I once said about installers for the tiny, little 500k software saying "Please wait, this may take a few minutes." I don't it has ever taken even a minute...even back on my 486 machine.
Umm...there's a thing called broadband, guys! Shaving 48K off a 3MB EXE file by zipping it is hardly worth the effort anymore.
