General Software Discussion / n-folder syncronizing
« Last post by Contro on May 09, 2010, 04:36 PM »
I am looking for :

A n-folder syncronizer like Syncless, but the folders may be in the net or in other pc in local area network.
a n-Folder syncronizer like Dropbox, but the initial folders are in any place.

By example :

a) Sync c:\proof

            d:\proof2

            \\acer-a04555092b\proof3

            \\asus-a04555092a\proof4

The content of the four folders is syncronized at the same time.

Any idea ?

The Three programs are very interesting.
I adopt Cliptext.
Clippy and TextMonkeyLite seem for "clean text". Clipmate has an utility for that purpose.
I'll take a close look to clippy.

Thanks for sharing

Explote a clip from the clipboard

I would like to get a program for :

copy to the clipboard a sentence formed by many lines. By example :

Esto es un huracán.
Pero no importa lo más mínimo, ahora bien.
Y sin embargo vuela.
Pero puede ser que no funcione.

Claro está que busca una solución.
Pero no encuentra ninguna.

The example is a clip of 7 lines. The five is empty.

I would like to paste, line by line, except the empty one where I desire.

IN the most flexible way and in any order.  Better with defined shortcuts.

And even with the use of other different clips during the pasting of this special one.

I Know Clipmate, but I don't see for this purpose.

Do you know similar soft ?

Best Regards

- I *think* the misunderstanding started when someone said that OfficeTab doesn't work in 2002 and I could see quite clearly that it does work in XP - hence XP must be different from 2002. But as with everything wrong, the explanation is not all sound logic. My apology for the nonsense.

I will experimentate and comment. I have in my agend. I take this post to pending.

Hey
I haven't used the add-on (since I only have Office 2003)
?
 (see attachment in previous post)

Other than that, it certainly is buggy.
Maybe it is an east versus west issue?

Hey Curt.
Do you mean I can use the chinese programa with excel xp ?

It would be a good new for me.

I have tried at the present moment with WinTabber with no good results.

And Window Tabs is different. It's for put together manually in tabs programs.

Can I try to installs the Office Tab for excel xp or 2002 ?

Thankssss anyway

OfficeTab now works OK for me! (and presumably it could for you too).
Though this was a really useful Add-in to MS Office, on my laptop it had only seemed to work in Excel and PowerPoint, but not for Word (where I could have put it to good use). This was despite my not insignificant efforts to try to discover and "fix" the problem.

When I started up Word today, I discovered to my pleasant surprise that OfficeTabs now works a treat in Word as well.     :beerchug:

The only thing that I had changed and that I think (no proof!) could have brought this about was that I had happened to use CCleaner (for the first time ever) - albeit with some trepidation - to clean some redundant garbage out of my system. So, I suspect that something was blocking the Add-In from working and CCleaner removed the blockage.

So, all you people (above) who tried OfficeTab and it didn't work or behave nicely in some way - well, it might not hurt to install OfficeTab, close all MS Office applications. Then, if OfficeTab does not work as it should, run CCleaner, reboot the PC, and restart the MS Office applications.

If you try this, then let us know how you get on please.
OfficeTab don't go on office 2002

I would like to find an easy scheduler or Electronic agend for Local Festivities, events and festivals , even those whose date celebration change each year.

Note : perhaps the possibility to send emails to remember the date , emerging windows and other type of alarms....

I thought I would chime in here.  I would like to find a nice tool for organizing desktop icons as well.  Something like fences would be great.  As far as fences goes, I like (the idea of) fences, but every time I install it and try to use it, I get tons of explorer crashes ... so many so fast I can't use it at all.  I have tried it several times over the past year or so as they have come out with new versions, but I get the same thing every time.  Seems to be a great app, I have friends that love it, but it doesn't like me or something I am running.

What operating system ? I am using windows xp pro sp3 with no problem. Even with object Dock of the same Stardock.
