just when you thought it was safe to go back to Adobe Reader.. i wonder if Foxit is also affected by this bug.Why would you go back to adobe?-lanux128 (March 06, 2009, 03:50 AM)

(but as the article says: if you have adobe reader installed on your system, it doesn't matter if you use another program to view PDF files.)

The outcome of this for now is that all the usability improvements Microsoft made for UAC in Windows 7 were for nothing, and the only way to stay secure is to raise that lever in the configuration and go back to Vista's behaviour.Let's hope they get this fixed. For anyone who is interested in reading the actual GPL (as opposed to just being told what it says) the full text can be found here: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/Make that two. I used to think the GPL was cool back when I was ~18, but I've grown older and wiser (or was that wizened?)
Except for one person, I have yet to meet anyone who has had a philosophical problem with the GPL after they've actually read it.-40hz (March 02, 2009, 03:20 PM)

But I've come to the conclusion that a site like ours shouldn't focus on giving big prizes.. we can let the big corporations drowning in money do that.. We'll keep things here much more friendly and less mercenary.. Those who want to participate will do so out of pride and enjoyment, and the pleasure of getting one of the rare and magical Cody mugs.Hear ye, hear ye!-mouser (March 02, 2009, 07:13 AM)
