So far Soluto is freeware and maybe it will stay free. However, if you look at their About-page, there is a list of investors. Serious inverstors. I *guess* the product to make money will be the coming PC Genome - whatever kind of program that will turn out to become.

But what I really am hoping for is a Soluto PRO version with the features I spoke about in my previous post, making me able to adjust the startup in micro details, down to tenths of a second, in a fixed order. I would gladly pay to have such an option.

The biggest advantage Soluto has, over Startup Delayer and Chameleon Startup Manager and (all?) others is, the ability to delay a hole bunch of system files. No other program, that I know of, will offer this feature.

But another problem is, that the user has nothing to say about the length or order of the various delays, but can merely chose between 'delay' or 'pause'. Nor can the user order what program to start all last. The absence of these features is why I have ditched Soluto, and still am using R2 Startup Delayer.

even easier: go to "downloads" (or where the files are) and mark them all. Right-click and click "install". End of story.

Did I get that feature from some third-party application?

-ehh... I know NOTHING about mobile cell phones, but even I know android is both all google and all java. And of all that is supposed to be evil, I have just mentioned two of the worst of the kind!

Wire Pilot/Wire Pilot Lite are designed to remove linear objects.
http://www.colorpilot.com/wire.html

But if you ask if you will need both Retouch Pilot and Wire Pilot, the answer is:

Dear Curt,

Thank you for your letter.
We advise you to by only Retouch Pilot (not both these programs), because the
programs have similar algorithms. Retouch Pilot can do things that Wire Pilot
can not do. And Retouch Pilot has more abilities than Wire Pilot.

Sincerely,
Katerina Zhdanova

Daum is already reasonable good, without being finished. The 'worst' feature not yet in place is the lack of auto-adjusting to the video's proper size and dimensions. But I expect it one day will become a really fine player.

All your links are to the one and same program. But Beta information is in Korean only, so you can't find that page on their site, unless of course you read that language.

There is the Korean KMPlayer, and the German KMPlayer.

Furthermore some more confusing were added by a sale of the Korean program:

In December 2008 KMPlayer was bought by Pandora.tv, and continues to be made available as freeware.

I didn't understand Quuk; I guess it would use some 3 days to import my Music directory. I must have done it the wrong way, I guess.

Having been removed, there were still 26 registry items and 2 file/folders left.

-hmm... Darwin, you really have changed!   :P

This little question of yours, how do I like SideWinder, made me of course download and re-install the thing right away. And it is as I said, really quite good, but too loud. However, there are 7 themes, and if I had a brand new computer with almost nothing yet installed, like you, I would consider SideWinder, in order to save on the final number of installed applications... It can do a lot.  8)

Thanks for reminding me that I don't use CopyWhiz. I am removing it now, thus making me reach down to 333. Heck, even 332, in a couple of minutes, when I have re-removed SideWinder!
