Fantastic.  I will try it.

Like this I assume:.

Custom Date Format:
%time%
for desired 24hr clock.

 - - - using %time% instead of %H%M%S

Using %time% is the same as setting customdate[time] as you have done. I'm not sure though - it could be simply getting the default time format from windows - I have 24hr time format.
Just a different method - i.e. your way is fine, probably even better because it says exactly what you want

FWIW attached is how it looks here (note filename)

Syncovery (Super Flexible File Synchronizer) have extended support to DropBox, Google Drive, Box.net, OneDrive and Rackspace.
Per email:

I would like to announce the latest Windows version 6.55 of Syncovery, which supports the following new cloud services: DropBox, Google Drive, Box.net, OneDrive, and Rackspace.

I also want to add these to the Mac version but would like to hear from you if you are interested in using these cloud services on Mac.

Services we have been supporting for a longer while include:
Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, Microsoft Azure, Google Docs

In addition, any cloud service that can be accessed via WebDAV, FTP, or SSH/SFTP can be used.

Google Drive is essentially a replacement for Google Docs. It will basically see the same files, so you could simply switch an existing profile over from Google Docs to Google Drive. However, there are differences regarding native Google Docs documents and document conversions. Google Drive has no conversion options. An advantage of Google Drive is that it can retain the Last Modified timestamps of files that you upload with Syncovery. Google Drive also implements the choice of using the Recycle Bin for deleted files or not.

Because Google Drive works differently with converted documents, it may not be able to replace the Google Docs API in some cases. Both options are still available in the protocol selection. When you switch protocols, please check if everything works correctly with manual runs of your jobs before automating them.

[...] alleged alliteration at?

well I dont know was that intentional, (I suspect it was), but I enjoyed it anyway :-)

edit// I see Wikipedia defines it as:

Alliteration is the repetition of the same sounds or of the same kinds of sounds at the beginning of words or in stressed syllables of an English language phrase
(my emphasis)

I always thought it was just the initial letters in the words.

I can put up with almost anything TED does so long as presentations like this one hit the widest possible audience.

And it's dripping with agenda...

Any time someone comes out saying "think of all the poor/starving/children/women/whatf*ckingever", I want to puke. The vast majority of the time it's an agenda and when you start following things back, it's the exact opposite of what it looks like. "I am Ukrainian" was a good example of a psyop. F*ck that.

I watched the entire video. And it looks cool, but the agenda there makes me question what's going on. Some people are just pawns...

My distrust of TED has only grown deeper.

If TED disappeared, the world would be a much better place.

Atacking TED and saying you suspect it because of it's sponsers is fair enough.
But for me, and others I suspect, the problem here is that you explicitly attack this particular video, with no real reason, with no backing for your 'dripping with agenda' claim. And that's how you lauch into the topic.
Meh.

Just discovered this (and these) (though they may be known here) :

Apart from the fascination, the technique is very interesting.

Brilliant!
took me a short while to figure out what was happening there...

Spoiler
it looks like they overlaid about 60 images at any one time

Well done cmori!
I was going to reply earlier but was unable to figure it out myself...

I see now it also works (here) if you just use %time% and remove the underscore as you have done.

Have you tried this version too? - T-Clock 2010 (by Stoic Joker, here on donationcoder)

Edit//
do you have a custom format?
I normally use 24hr clock, using custom format.
If I turn off the custom format, the 12hr clock works fine here with these settings. I just ticked the AM/PM and 12hr boxes - the lower one should work with custom format (needs the 'tt' after the time).

So is it still being maintained...? On the official (?) page they say "The current version of Circle Dock is 0.9. (with the download links dead).

How come -- or is only that page abandoned, and is there a newer homepage somewhere?

I think it got abandoned.
There was a problem with the license in 2010 or so. (It was already abandoned, but with a GPL license, then further developed by another developer, but source code wasnt released, got messy unfortunately). I thought there was an earlier version on sourceforge but couldnt find it there.

I remember you did this before. And neglected to tell us in your request that you only needed one aspect of the message (cant remember was it name, or number).

So this time, I'll ask beforehand: what do you *need* to know here?

Thanks, I did try that. Elsewhere it's been suggested that there is no solution to this yet.

RolandOH replied on

The cause for Office, Modern UI and IE10 to look so bad is that they use a new graphics rendering API offered in Windows 8 (and with updates on Windows 7, too).
The new font rendering engine offered by this new API simply doesn't have Clear Type implemented. So unless Microsoft patches this new API to support Clear Type, no program using this API will ever be able to do so.
[...]
The bad thing is: no one can help you with the font rendering problem. You're on your own, as a consumer. For me that meant to downgrade back to Office 2010, ignoring Modern UI and all apps completely and ditching IE 10 (but hey, that's a no-brainer, isn't it?).

So it sounds like one should be wary of updating to IE10/11 as well...

I'm not a bitcoin apologist.  As with any currency it has upsides and downsides.  You have to make a risk assessment and go in with your blinders off.  But I hate so called experts spreading FUD with a stamp of their expertise.  I hate that on anything, truth be told.

a big plus one here - on all counts (I'm also *not* a bitcoin apologist).

That was a very lame 'analysis' (by Nouriel Roubini)...
