this 'confusion' is Adobe's fault

On behalf of Adobe Systems Incorporated …

You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!

What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don’t require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. (Special serial numbers are provided on the page for each product download.) See <http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1114930>.

should have said that to begin with

If a Firefox plugin does not work or doesn't do what you want it to,
uninstall it or disable it.
Having multiple download managers in Firefox will be trouble, no doubt.

I think you need to more familiar with Firefox to determine it's usefulness.

NetVideoHunter Video Downloader for FF

Has "best available" option, but doesn't seem to be updated frequently enough (people on the respective mozilla page say it didn't download the majority of YT videos for many months; or then has problems with newer FF versions?

Frequent updates or lack of them don't bother me if it works.
The comments are reliable to a point, that point being overall ratings and tips for operations.
And my own experience with the add-on.

I hope you find something that works for you.

I'm not sure how to check if you already have a video before downloading, unless it is the same file name.
The Firefox download manager alerts me for files that already have the same name.
Net Video Hunter downloads the best quality video by default.

If your file list is a web based link list or links in a web page in Firefox,
you can use Snap Links Plus.

Rebooting the computer will not save the preference for file format.

After setting the option to .png, as Stephen66515 has shown,
exit ScreenshotCapture and start it again.

This may work for you, and it has for me in the past.

http://www.netvideohunter.com/

NetVideoHunter works for me.
Play it on the web for a second or 2 and it will catch the link for downloading the full video.
It will continue logging viewed videos and present a full list per session.
Check the ones you want to download. Preview of video available-click Play.
A firefox plug-in.
See screenshots.

Thanks, webm works.
Mp4 works too, and of course the asv/wmv.
Tried a few combos for flash but no luck so far.
I do have another program for quick flash casts though.
Box's Simple Share does fine, with a Box account.

Calling it a "Day of Rage" is inflammatory and terrorist talk.
They should arrest themselves.
And arrest the 'private sector' like OPEC.

I don't mind too much being spied on, if they tell the truth.
But it never turns out that way.
The info attained is turned to use by the private sector for their own gain.

Honestly, they are confused on who the private sector is.

I like the drop down options, very nice.
If I want it to look like faststone, I will use faststone.
But I don't.

Perhaps it is the regulars who can shift their perspective and begin new.
It may take a new board, I like Invision's forums, with new stats for everyone.
I think new folk look at the number of posts and get intimidated sometimes.

One thing I miss is the talk of software for the 'average user',
whatever that is :) . Me I guess.
With a 'review state of mind' talking about the good and the bad of softwares.
And not focusing so much on what one lacks, but the place it holds, it's best features.

It can be closed.

I think the profit is from many popular sites mentioning SoftMaker's office suite.
Their free 2008 office suite was a great deal too.
Replaced now with SoftMaker Free Office.

I could not find a setting for that, and the help file says that should work.
You could uninstall SC, and reinstall it to see if that fixes it.
Your license will be saved when uninstall/install.

That is a windows setting.
The default windows clock - calendar displays a bit above the taskbar and away from the edge as well.
