‘Dead' boy in Brazil wakes up in his coffin at his funeral and asks his father for water. Everyone screams, and he lies down dead again.
This story would be so much cooler if he had woken up and asked for "brains."  If I ever get pronounced dead, then wake up, I'm gonna ask for brains

What is this splendid menuak?

The ability to arbitrarily assign a color to an explorer item is interesting--though I'm not sure what I'd use if for.

Hey....   Still cannot see pictures!
Edit:  Oh woops--just saw your flickr link.  I guess I know what you mean about not posting publicly....  I posted my daughter's full name and date of birth on my facebook wall, then felt sortof paranoid afterward...  Like somebody might steal her identity or something.   idk...

Anyway--awesome looking girl you have there!

Holy Moly SoldierByte...  That's quite a setup.   You should do the walls and floor so it looks like the inside of the Enterprise.  lol....

Tastes like sleep deprivation...   ;)

I didn't mean to hijack Renegade's thread, so I'll post over on the "Let's Meet" thread....

Yea...  Actually I have several installed as well.
ClipX is probably the one I've "gone back to" the most times...   :P

Congrats Dad!
The wife and I also just had a little girl (in April actually).  Baby girls are awesome  :D

Yea, I was just tinkering with it as well.  The "Listeners" feature is interesting.  It doesn't provide a pop-up list of clips though.  It only shows you one at a time and you have to use the arrow keys to cycle through them....
I think I like Mouser's Clipboard Help+Spell better....

There's a book called The Zombie Autopsies that I got from Costco.  Pretty fun.  Written by an MD and zombie enthusiast.  http://thezombieautopsies.com/thebook

I think a zombie apocalypse would be better.  That way natural selection would tend to preserve people who are faster or smarter or just have good immune systems.  As a result, the human race would be a bit less fragile in future generations....

Nuclear war wouldn't have this effect.  Plus nuclear war would probably pollute the earth more.

Just fyi:  The CMF app icon in the context menu http://i.imgur.com/Ak0qD.png shows up in Win 7 but is not there in Vista.  Not that it matters to me either way.  Frankly it bugs me the way Windows shows some of the icons, but leaves other spots blank...  Makes me OCD.  I'd just as soon hide them all...

Other note:  I like the StarPunch starcards you have.  My "day job" is actually that of school psychologist, and my training is mostly in applied behavior analysis, so I have an appreciation for such things  :)
397
Yea, sorry about that...  I was clicking the 'Blog' links...   Sometimes my hand clicks faster than my brain thinks.

v3 looks awesome.  The List View definitely is faster than the Icon View.  And the customizable icon sources seems to work well.   Thanks for adding those :D

398
I think I broke your website.  I'm not seeing the download link anymore....  Only this http://i.imgur.com/GfeSg.png
399
The folder opening at the beginning was not caused by closing CMF.  I was just doing that to show what I had going on in my My Documents folder.
(note that the screen cast has audio, which explains a bit of what I was doing)
I guess you're right about shell32.dll having some blanks http://i.imgur.com/tBitx.png I never noticed before... :-[
The issue of icons not always refreshing right away is a bit annoying, but I am aware that this is a Windows flaw (I've seen it in other programs).

THe only other thing worth looking into is that strange bit of CMF only displaying the chosen icon (see ~3 minutes in on the cast).

Idea:  When CMF is loading the contents of a large folder or DLL, would it be possible for it to cancel loading when a double-click is detected??  That way, if I see the icon I want to choose, I can imediately access it, rather than having to wait for the entire thing to load...
