Yes.
I have a similar example.
With winrar when you select a group of compressed files. Gives the opportunity to decompressed to a folder. And the name folder is the last one compressed file.

But for me any approuch of a program made by Ewemoa is enough. For example : Ask for the name of the folder similar way activatin the scroll lock . O give a name of date and time creation. Or whenever you like. Only I think in winrar of the possibility to select the last named.

I am looking for a soft for :

When I have several archives, files, folders at the same level and want to group them.
I select the archives and with a shortkey we put in a folder with the name of the last one selected. The last one may be the father ?
O even with configuration we can put the folder name we want for special families.....

resume : Selected the archives we want in a new folder at the same level and apply the shortkey for that.
The selected archives, files, folders are moved to the new one.

First impressions :

1) I think the program is better is more flexible. Is not an addon of the explorer. Need specific execution and don't have quickeys.
2) The program don't have drag and drop. Need a good user.

I would like to know if is possible or have now the additional possibility to move folder or archives, or to simply create the shortcuts (of the folders/archves selected) , instead of copying the folders. the very best would be the three options.

I have a proof of concept of the functionality, but it is not in the form of a Windows Explorer context menu item.  It can be invoked by hotkey.

Even if it's not quite what is wanted, may be it will be useful in confirming some of the desired functionality

It took me a while to realize what you were saying, but I think you are saying you would like a context menu item with a concept such as "Open Parent Folder of File Location with File Location Selected" (wording needs work) in addition to the standard "Open File Location"?

I believe locate32 propagates the Windows Explorer context menu to itself -- great program!

I use a similar program to create folders and subfolders inside a folder.
The script from Skwire is splendid and may be improved to the eleventh desire. Simply controlling an historial of the last text files and the last root folders used with a dropdownlist for the two options controlled by an ini file.
Very useful to organize matters or incidents according to patterns in the text files.

Folder2
Folder3\Subfolder3
...

As I told Skwire I think this is an interesting application for reorganize folders and ideas.
Splendid the option to multi select and ask for the final folder.
We can do many things.
But may be improved this particular :
When I select a shortcut or more the program acts over the original path , not over the archive the shortcut represent.
To my surprise i began to make proofs over the portable icon of Files2folder in my desktop.
The result is that the program path is modified and therefore I was thinking that something was going wrong. Just because the program let off going well.
For the purposes this splendid program from Skwire is extension of , or in the same line, or similar, or complement, or supplementary ( )   to CreateShortCutsIn from Ewemoa.
The splendid script from Ewemoa is also very useful for reorganize my folders and my mind.
I am using both program and have additional new ideas I will communicate in two months, but I think is necessary to protect the shortcuts and don't affect the original file path.

Context Menu Select Folder

Under certain circunstances I don't need to open the folder where the file is. Only to open the window explorer and select the folder contains that file.

By example in locate32 when I have a list of archives and i select one in the contextual menu I don't have the option to go to the folder, only open the folder contains that file.

Can I have ?
