This project has been on-again and off-again for years.  Just an update that we are getting seriously close.. Most of the site has been migrated.. Now we are just cleaning up pages and moving over the more ornery dynamic stuff..
I have to say that I continue to be surprisingly impressed with Joomla as the cms engine.  I can't speak to it's efficiency and speed but I can speak to how well organized things are and how smooth an experience it has been using it and writing custom modifications for it.

We still have quite a bit of stuff left to do -- this stuff always takes longer than expected -- but I can't imagine us not moving to the new CMS version of DonationCoder before the end of this year (2017).

Living Room / Why Running May Be Good for Your Back
« Last post by mouser on June 08, 2017, 08:31 AM »
From the NY Times today:
Why Running May Be Good for Your Back
https://www.nytimes....d-for-your-back.html

"People who regularly run or walk briskly appear to have healthier discs in their spines than people who do not exercise, according to one of the first studies to closely examine links between movement and disc health. The findings refute a widely held belief that activities like running might overtax the spine and indicate that, instead, they make it sturdier."

Over the years I have experienced periods with lower back pain issues, and running has seemed to help.  This seems completely counter-intuitive to me, but maybe there is some science behind it..

The Story Behind Mass Effect: Andromeda's Troubled Five-Year Development

Nice long article talking about the difficulties of bringing a big game to fruition.

In 2012, as work on Mass Effect 3 came to a close, a small group of top BioWare employees huddled to talk about the next entry in their epic sci-fi franchise. Their goal, they decided, was to make a game about exploration—one that would dig into the untapped potential of the first three games... Five years later, it’s hard to find anyone who’s ecstatic with the results.

Make sure you are putting your license key INTO SCREENSHOT CAPTOR and not just visiting the web page :)

Once you put in your license key you should not see the pop up again.   With a permanent license key entered you should never see the pop up ever again.

This stops the SC process and as far as I know, I have to go to the website first, close it, and then go on with the SC.

This is not the case either -- the pop up can be clicked and will simply go away and you can resume using Screenshot Captor, whether you put in a license key or not.. The pop-up window does not stop SC from functioning it's just a reminder.

I wouldn't say I have OCD but I do have a real appreciation for maximizing organization in small spaces.  For some reason I find these videos compelling -- I'm sure there are lots of others on youtube.

Yeah I don't use an online synchronizing password manager, though I understand their appeal for folks who travel around a lot and use multiple devices, etc.

I can't imagine not using a password manager.  It is essential.  Just remember one long password and then use the app to create a unique password for every site.
People that don't use password managers seem to inevitably use the same password on different sites, which is a major risk.
I love not having to remember passwords.

Screenshot Captor / Re: Spanish Translation / Improved Interface

I'm afraid the Screenshot Captor is not currently localizable.. It's something that I could do to the program, but there's never been quite enough interest to make it happen.
