How are you getting an Android version of Palemoon? I can't find it on the Google Play Store, nor can I find a download for it on the Palemoon website.

Thank you!  :)

Palemoon is nice. It does have its hicks though.
Haven't tried it on Linux but it is really good (fast) on Nexus 7!

Cool!

But if there's no central server, how does the client know where to find other peers?

eBooks are the better option if they don't have DRM deleting them or making them inaccessible.

Wow. I'm really impressed by their website!

I love how the background image matches up perfectly with the video, so it's like an extra wide screen.

The game looks pretty sweet, too!

Right now I have 13 processes taking up more than 100 MB of RAM. This is just crazy.

That would be nice...

There's a 10.1 nexus out now, but it's considered "old" and again, a new one is right around the corner.

The Nexus 10 came out in 2012 and never got a hardware update in 2013 like the Nexus 7 did. I've been itching to buy one for about a year, but thought surely there was a new one "right around the corner" since the Nexus 7 was updated last year. AFAIK, any news of a Nexus 10 hardware update has proven to be just a rumor. :'(

I like that he shows off DonationCoder in the article. (c:

I really could have used this earlier, as I've been trying to recall the URL to an article I read a few months ago about a particular topic, but cannot find the source in my history no matter what I try.

Thanks for sharing!

Very similar to Truecrypt and why its sudden attempted assassination was all the more ridiculous.

Attempted assassination? You mean TrueCrypt survived?

Sorry for going off-topic.

I have a 128GB (or so) SSD for my OS drive and a 2TB drive for everything else. I keep pretty much everything and have never really felt the need for more space like I did in the old days of having a 256MB drive with DOS/Windows 3.11 (or was it 95?).

One time I saw in My Computer the color of the free space was red and I "only" had 30GB left, so I uninstalled a bunch of games from my Steam library that I haven't played in forever and now I'm sitting pretty again at about 700GB free with lots more I could delete to make room if I needed to. I think 2TB will suit me fine for quite some time.

Then again, I'm not into photography so I don't have a bunch of RAW images to store. And I don't rip/download movies for watching/streaming to my TV, so I guess people who do those things would probably appreciate the 8TB and 10TB drives.

I think both are a matter of taste.  I liked DM and still liked DM2.  Especially the storyline with the other agent.  My daughter LOVES Frozen.  It's her favorite Disney movie of all time.  I think that it really is a girls movie.

Maybe I'm just becoming an old curmudgeon and I need to have a few children of my own to sway my opinion. But it's been a while since I really enjoyed a kids/family animated feature. Like... The Emperor's New Groove, or Shrek 1 & 2.

I recently saw Frozen (2013) against my better judgement. I have no idea why it's such a hit. The lyrics were not very clever or catchy. Very little of the humor was actually humorous. They tried too hard to make Olaf the snowman this movie's comedic relief a la Ice Age's Sid the Sloth or Shrek's Donkey, but I personally didn't find much of anything he did or said to be funny. And while the woman who does the voice of the ice queen is a talented singer, I didn't feel that it fit her character or the movie very well. I really don't understand why "Let It Go" is such a popular song. It's not a classic, fun song that should be enjoyable to kids and adults alike.

Though there were 2-3 parts of the movie I found genuinely funny, most of the time I was just scratching my head wondering why people seem to like this movie so much, with its lame humor, lame lyrics, lame dialog, and generally lame plot all around.

I find myself more in agreement with these (paraphrased) words of a friend-of-a-friend's 4-year old son: "That movie would have been pretty good if she had died at the end. And if there was no singing."

I would not recommend the movie.

I also recently saw Despicable Me 2 (2013). From the previews I had seen last year, I wasn't too excited about the movie. It looked like it was just an excuse to have random "funny" minion moments. The actual film lived up to my expectations. I think they tried too hard to do more minion funniness, but it all just seemed too random; it was just for the sake of showing the minions doing hilarious things and had nothing to do with the plot. The plot itself was pretty weak. The whole movie seemed like just one big excuse to show off more minions and a couple of cute Agnes moments.

It's not as good as the first Despicable Me. But it was a decent waste of time.

“Everyone can go to The Pirate Bay and grab a copy. People are actually not supposed to, but they have my permission to download Susy Q,” Koolhoven said in an interview with Geenstijl.

Cool. Let me try that one:

"Everyone can go to a nearby bank and take some money! People are actually not supposed to, but they have my permission to take $1,000,000 USD."

I remember, perhaps 15 years ago, my older brother telling me that someday we'd reach a point where the CPU's hz wouldn't matter anymore because it would eventually be so high that any further increase wouldn't give us any practical improvement. He guessed that advances in RAM (both amount of RAM and speed of RAM) would be the next deciding factor in PC speeds for the consumer.

It seems we've pretty much met his first prediction. IMO RAM is approaching that point as well. What I mean by that is it seems it won't be long until we can have so much RAM in our systems that we won't do ourselves any good to put more in them. At least for desktop machines. Mobile devices still could use more.

Then again, mobile devices could still use more of just about everything, as it's harder to fit the more powerful things inside the smaller cases and also deal with heat/battery issues. But that's improving as well. (c:

Gotta love the progress of technology.
