FlipSuite and Flipbook Printer / Post your card stock templates here
« Last post by mouser on November 19, 2005, 05:02 AM »
i included 2 template files for the two different business card paper i have;
if you have configured your own card stock template for use with Flipbook Printer, please post it here so others can use it and so i can include it with the next version.

You can either paste the contents of the .ini file or else just attach it to your post.

my god that is an insane response.  are they trying to lose customers?
34332
in all of our programs, including screenshot captor and F+R robot you will find at the bottom of the help file a list of related programs and their websites.  it's a good place to look for similar programs - and there are certainly others that can find text files as well :)

hi!

i will respond in english:

  • you do not have to donate to get a license key!
  • you only have to sign up at the forum, which you already have done successfully.
  • then go to this page -> https://www.donation...r.com/Keys/index.php
  • and select which program you want a license key for and it will be generated there on that page.
  • enter the license key and you won't see any more nag screens again.
  • the key will last 6 months.  after 6 months you go back to that same page (https://www.donation...r.com/Keys/index.php) to get a new license key to last another 6 months.  you can do this forever.

is that clear? i know it is a bit confusing..

bottom line: you do not have to donate to use our programs forever and with no limitations or nag screens,
the only requirement is that you sign up at forum and download a free license key every 6 months.

Do you guys here accept reviews of individual products from members?

yes!! we encourage them very much - we have a special section on the forum for such things, called the "mini reviews by members" section:
https://www.donation...index.php?board=42.0

it's great when people post there about their favorite programs with some screenshots etc.

  • [BugFix] - Preview was sometimes not redrawing properly when other windows were dragged on top of it.

  • [minor improvement] when configuring printers via setup dialog, the selected printer is set for printing in options.
  • [minor improvement] print setup dialog now matches configured printer.

i think some of the ideas on the points page are good, and some i would consider not a good idea, and would definitely not want to do here.
i think the ones for doing things like reporting bugs, making suggestions for programs, etc, are nice.
the ones that involve promoting the ucalc softtware i would consider harmful in the long run and inappropriate.

i have always encouraged people here, out of the goodness of their hearts, to post your thoughts about donationcoder programs on review sites; but i think it would be inappropriate to reward people for saying good things about us - that just makes it seem like we are buying user praise, and i wouldnt want to do that, nor seem to be doing that.

johnk i agree with you 100% about how it's one of the most important class of programs and yet so many people don't even know about such tools.

and do i hear you volunteering to spearhead the review of hierarchical note tools (outliners)?  i do think it has the potential to be the most important review on the site.  :)

ps.
seeing martin post on this thread reminds me that one of the first programs i would install on a new computer would be his Website Watcher.  I honestly can't imagine surfing the web without it.

ok i have a theory about this now perhaps.
i'm thinking you probably have a non-standard date format set.
i don't know why that should be given that you have an english version of windows..

but regardless, its chs fault for trying to set the date based on local date format instead of formatting it itself;
i will try to update a fixed version in the next week or so.

thank you for keeping on top of this and please check back soon i will try to have a fix.
