All these options and parameters are in the (probably REALSQL) database 'C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Optimism\Optimism.rsd', AFAICS.Oh. I'll see and will comment. Nice idea indeed.
The "Custom..." buttons at the top of each screen-section brings up an edit screen where you can change the texts etc...

Contro - it seems to me that you can customize all the parameters in Optimism ... no ?-joiwind (May 16, 2012, 05:07 PM)

The premise of that is simply untrue, there is no way to 'unlock those unused cores'. They are unused because most operations require another operation to be done before them (they are single threaded, or linear). This creates a condition where there is excess CPU capacity because operation X or Y must be done before Z. I've written more on this marketing myth before. Other than that, I won't go into detail. But if you think that some program can come and 'make use of those extra cores'.. well, that's not going to happen. I wrote more the other day here, under my Myths and Lies section: https://bitsum.com/f...hp/topic,1394.0.html
An alternative would be Process Lasso, it has all the same capabilities. However, from what I can tell, that program you mention uses 'foreground boosting', something Process Lasso supports, but does not enable by default because it was shown to be ineffective and potentially unsafe. Windows already does foreground boosting. More info on this here: http://bitsum.com/about_probalance.php
Do not fall for this marketing lie..-db90h (May 05, 2012, 06:50 PM)

Contro, try w.bloggar - it's an offline blogging tool, non-MSand there's a portable version available.
I cannot comment on how well it'll work since I used it very briefly, years back. Live Writer is my tool of choice.

I am not sure if I understand this.
You have multiple gmail accounts, and multiple blogs, and you want to be able to log in to post to each blog with the correct user/pass combo?
This sounds like something that could be easily done with Windows Live Writer, when adding the blog to it. Each blog is configured separately with you having to add the user/pass/url for it. You can configure it for multiple blogs and multiple gmail accounts (and even multiple blogging platforms), and it won't affect or be affected by which account you are currently logged in with, in your browser.-app103 (April 18, 2012, 06:44 AM)
Probably MySQL or something like that is your best bet. However, it is far from trivial to setup for most people. But, you get a LOT of flexibility to do almost anything you can imagine.
If you don't know what MySQL is, you probably need to narrow your focus and be more specific.-Renegade (April 20, 2012, 06:48 AM)
