Try changing the sata port and the sata cable.

Pronounce is a firefox add-on for the same purpose. If you're like me, effectively locked into firefox thanks to the extensive and currently unmatched add-on set, despite all the memory leaks and sometimes slow performance, this would do the job for you.

How I wish Opera had one third of the extension park of Firefox...

If you have a working AHK script, you could make it the default opening behavior for double-clicking on .wav files and cover both options.

Not testing for an environment used by approximately 5% of your clientele is not a good idea. Many businesses have such slim margins that 5% really makes the difference between red and black.

Don't underestimate small percentages, or overestimate large ones. Assume that the government has come up with a "terrorist test". The test has 99.9% accuracy. Also assume that there are 1000 terrorists and 1 billion (1,000,000,000) innocent people.

We make everyone take the test, and 999 out of 1000 terrorists are caught. Neat right?

Not so.

We just sent 1 million innocent people to Guantanamo.

In a nutshell, it is always a good idea to test for 100% of the target set, if it is reasonably possible.

I find myself more and more as the devil's advocate or hopeless opposition but...

Assume that you hold a scuba diving license. You hit a cyclist and run away. The cyclist dies. Should your scuba diving license be revoked?

It's not OK to kill people, the lawyer in question will almost certainly be jailed for negligent homocide or something like that. And he will be in jail for a long time, but what does this event have to do with his law degree and success in bar exams?

It's refreshing to see that people are waking up to the fact that intellectual property rights are just a way to keep means of production under the capital's control. Though Marx did not see that coming, the idea resembles what marxism would stand out against in the 21st century.

Let's paraphrase the question like this:

A Thai citizen collaborates with terrorists which plan some evil and treacherous attack on the US. Then for medical reasons, he goes to US.

Should he be arrested there? What power does US have over a Thai citizen?

I know I am making a travesty of the matter. Laws banning free speech can't be reasonably compared with laws against terrorism. But yet, nominally they are the same, just laws.

I use it. Not bad at all. Not intrusive.

Anyway, the banks here in Turkey made us used to two factor authentication, so it does not feel weird now.

Don't know what it will do to google talk alternatives though. Didn't try to use miranda or trillan etc. with this new system.

About the recent spammer activity... I was thinking... A good idea would be to make new members wait for 12 hours or so before allowing them to post new topics. Replies would be allowed though. Just an idea. Don't know how that can be done.

Governments woke up to the use of paypal as a means of circumventing national tax mechanisms. For instance, assume that you work freelance, get paid over paypal, and spend it on newegg. Your government does not know anything about these, so they cannot tax it.

So they force paypal to use credit card instead of your paypal balance for payments. Therefore the money becomes traceable in your country as well, in addition to being transparent to the government of Hong Kong.

That is at least what happens in Turkey. I am not sure about other countries, but that's a theory that works.

Translator (between English and Turkish). I love freelancing as it gives me independence. But I am not decided if I should like it ideologically, for it gives the employers a means to circumvent social security obligations.

What do you think about that? Should a worker be able to opt out of the social security system?

Graphics processing is a highly parallelized business. So the shader processor count is more important than the clock speed. The shader processor/texture mapping unit/render output unit counts of 550ti and 560 are respectively 192/32/24 and 336/56/32.

This alone effectively makes 560 the faster one. To top it off, the memory bus of 560 is apparently wider (192 vs 256 bits).

My educated guess is that on average 560 will provide roughly one thirds more FPS than 550ti.

If the price difference is not gonna hurt you much, get the faster one.
