Now to address any miss understandings about the wikidot main site

Markham knows, better than I, just how many copies of our Beloved VIP's code are being redistributed at a price, and worse without proper credit to Mr. Wong.

The injustice has put us both in a fury.

To top it Off: I received an e-mail from an individual, who wanted to know who I had stolen the code from!?!!
To say the least: I was insulted 

I have spent over a year supporting Circle Dock, and any one who spends any time here, knows this (so in this respect I am preaching to the crowd).
I resolved at that moment to let folks know that the Circle Dock we represent here is the Original.
Maybe not original in complete concept, but remains the one and only original Circle Dock.
VIP made certain to explicitly give concept credit on the Main wikidot site, and this information remains on the front page, as I felt that this is what VIP would have me do.

In my statement I intended no disrespect to any originals, but as a smack to the face of folks that have corrupted Eric Wong's original code to their personal ends.
Apparently there are folks out there charging up to $40.00 for what in all actuality is Circle Dock with maybe a fix or two, and no real programming effort has been done to improve the program!
If there are any that can dispute this...I welcome your commentary to support your position.

So on VIP's, Markham's, DonationCoder.com's, and my behalf, I say to you emphatically:
There is only one true Circle Dock and you have found it!!! Welcome

Ultimately this statement will be changed at some point in the future.
I generally do this with a new release.

I have reviewed your software, and I must say I am impressed. Well done  
Some honest Competition for Circle Dock, and freshly programmed.
This is not some Circle Dock copy cat, knock off, it is a fresh concept, and I thank you for your programming of it.

I am excited by the alternative you have presented. I am faithfully loyal to Circle Dock, but I acknowledge that your concept has great potential.
Do not stop.
Keep your program running and alive.
What you have created is excellent in concept and form.
Keep developing and make CianoDock all in can be and more  

Based on one of your statements I am compelled to now add a gallery for the current collection of Backgrounds.
Let me see what I can work up  

I hope from time to time you will visit with us here at the Circle Dock forums, and am grateful that you have attended us here.
I am actually happy: Most programmers would come in here and Flame the site, the software, and anything else in their path.
You have shown us that this is not necessary, and I thank you for it.
You have set the example

Yes...you can do a completely clean install.
If you are using Vista or 7 ensure to chase down and delete the AppData files 

Let us know if you try this method and the results

Pretty damn close....
Rainmeter is actually a clock.
What you are seeing is a series of Winamp controls that operate Wiamp via a really old third party Command Line tool called Clamp.exe
Built up one Icon at a time 

I will be doing a tutorial on this to be sure.

For those of you that love FooBar2000, do not fret...I think I have a little something worked out there to, especially since I am dropping Winamp after over a decade of use. If I get this properly ironed out, I will be doing a tutorial on this as well

Welcome to DonationCoder, and our little corner with Circle Dock  

Actually what you are seeing is a Rainmeter. Rainmeter is Windows only at this time
With the "Analogue Digital" Clock skin, and I modified it to give the RGB glassy effect
This particular skin is a bout 5+ years old.
I place the clock to "Bottom and Circle Dock position to "Normal" and voila, the clock appears behind teh Circle Dock graphics

I am one of the Dev Team Members and one of the Forum Admins at the Rainmeter forums.
Ultimately I support about four projects. Circle Dock and Rainmeter are my highest priorities

I also love seeing what Circle Dock can do utilizing third party tools, even some that most folks have forgotten and they are years old  

Rainmeter makes a nice touch and compliments Circle Dock well, with the right skins and background!

The following is just a few samples:





Here is a full screen shot with a no-where-near-complete collection of clocks available


Quite a few of these are personally modified

I am working to see about a time piece with systems monitoring and a small whether in a circular skin and fit it in Circle Dock, but this will take some time, as you can imagine my time is somewhat stretched thin

I can verify the re-draw issue

If you click Item settings and make a change, then move one...Item label will not disappear until you hover over item again .
It also appears that this residual text is not attached to the Icon: as you spin the dock, the text remains anchored in the location it originally appeared

Apparently there may also remain some center button toggling, redraw, and opacity issues.
The Center button is almost completely unstable.
The only consistencies are: It remains, and it works to its assigned function.

I can verify this!

OS: Windows 7 64
Location of Software: C:/Program files (Alternative)/CircleDock
No UAC control of this file, only the CD process

Apparently this is an intermittent issue, but also one that appears after Circle Dock has not been utilized for some time.
I will open CD at startup. Use it start say: MS Word....I will write a document and then save....Approximately an hour and a half. Close all related programs...go to center click, and CD will not appear.
Attempts to un-click and re click the option in settings is to no effect.
If I switch functions (Hotkey the appearance), re-open settings and set Middle Click as an option, it will work again.

It is like CD is is in slow degradation in its line of communication to the OS, eventually I am left with hiding via the CD Context Menu and showing via the systray icon, after about 5 hours

I will take it you are point out teh second of my postings (???)

That being the case: It is a really old program that still works like a champ. Albeit I would like to see some updates to it....being that it is almost 7 years since its last update.

It is KK Menu version 2.80
It is a bit of a pain to set up, but once done OMG!  
Skin-able, comes with a manager and skinner
There is almost nothing in right clicking , but it comes with a decent tutorial
The initial skin is very retro, but the one I am using is Smoked skin and there are dozens more available through Wincustomize, DevianyArt and Rocket dock

I will eventually be doing a Tutorial for it

I have yet to try it, and it will not be until much later today or tomorrow.
I would try a batch file to start the instances of Circle Dock, and then put a shortcut of the batch file in the startup folder
