Well...after much thought and deliberation as to whether I should continue development on this project, I have decided that it is, indeed worth the effort.

Soooo... v1.0.0.1 is almost ready, and includes more of the features that mouser has requested.  This version will also contain an auto-updater, so will require an install instead of simply clicking the .exe file to run it.

If people would also like, I could continue with the simple "Click and Run" as well as the installation version, but of course, the "click and run" will not have an auto-updater so will require people keep track on the versions to make sure they are running the latest one, and not an old one that could be buggy.

Yip, my windows are frozen on the inside also...its annoyingly cold now lol, Ive even left every heating device that we own, turned on full haha.

Its that bad, I even found myself turning on the tumble drier to heat up the utility room (putting the nozzle in the room instead of through the vent) and also using my gas hob cooker to heat the kitchen lmfao

Ok, the domain forwarding is working fine.  Now, if you go to the site here:
http://www.compleximaginary.com/
The website address gets converted to this as soon as you enter the page:
http://www.complexim.../tomatocart/catalog/
Now, I'd like to get rid of the "tomatocart/catalog/" part.  How do I do that?

The /tomatocart/ is where youhave uploaded your files (same as this forum is on /forum/) - If you want it on root - re-upload to the root directory of your FTP (If you need assitance feel free to PM Me)

The /catalog/ part (if memory serves) is required (unless u change the coding of most of the files included in the script)

If you easily hide both those directories when you enter the site, create a .httaccess to mask the index.php (Do not mask other pages as this will stop people being able to properly share links)

Finished Programs / Re: The Mouser Utility - Requested by App103
« Last post by KynloStephen66515 on December 16, 2010, 08:36 AM »
For clarification purposes...

I did not request this! You asked for an idea for a completely useless application and I merely told you an old joke by pasting an old quote from the IRC channel:

<app> i am thinking of creating a companion for instant boss...instant mouser
<app> you run it and it ignores you

Then explained what I meant by that.

 ;D

 8)

Im pretty sure you said "you should make this" and I took it as a request lmfao!

Take the blame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha

I may expand on this project and have it do something interesting in the future...

How about something like Esheep, but with a cat that roams around the desktop totally ignoring the user?

Maybe randomly closing windows that dont require the data to be saved...cause cats can be evil like that haha

Updated...

now it does exit, per Mousers request so the new guys dont get confused how to quit it haha.

(I may expand on this project and have it do something interesting in the future...install it now to see its current state so you know what you will be dealing with)

« Last post by KynloStephen66515 on December 15, 2010, 05:17 PM »
This is possibly the most pointless thing I have ever made in my entire life...but App requested I make it...and if you frequent the IRC channel, this software (if you can call it that) will make perfect sence...otherwise...you might be confused ;)

I attach no screenshots...those of you who download and run it will understand why

Description:

Ever wondered what it would be like to have software that runs exactly the same as Mouser?

How about one that ignores you completely?

If you answered yes...this is for you!
